Fundraising and Sponsorship Opportunities

Swim-A-Thon - CCA partners with USA Swimming Foundation and hosts an annual Swim-A-Thon every year.  This year’s event was held in October 2018, swimmers and families are encouraged to not only participate in swimming laps but also to raise funds for our team.  Donations can be made on CCA’s website as an online donation or some swimmers sent traditional mailed letters asking for support.  Typically these funds are allocated for training equipment and expenses, and pool equipment for use at the Roseville Aquatics Complex.

Dine and Donate Nights – CCA periodically hold Dine & Donate Nights at local restaurants. Typically these nights are held on a Monday evening when the team has a night off from practice for post-meet recovery after a hosted swim meet.  Just show up at the specified establishment at the time indicated with your flyer to show the cashier when ordering and 20% of your order goes right back to CCA!  We’d love to see all families participate!

Swim Outlet - If you purchase your swim gear needs through the CCA Team Store at Swim Outlet, CCA receives a portion back of all the sales! You can find custom CCA Gear such as CCA Team Suits, Backpacks, Parkas and more!  You can also purchase all of your other swim equipment needs such as Swim Suits, Goggles, Kickboards, Snorkels, Mesh Equipment Bags and much more at the CCA Team Store with Swim Outlet.

Amazon Smile Program – Amazon will give back a portion of every purchase to CCA provided you shop through the Amazon Smile website. Please visit https://smile.amazon.com and log into your Amazon account. If have not previously selected a charity to support, search for California Capital Aquatics from the pop-up window. If you have previously chosen a charity, please consider changing your support to CCA by clicking on the pull-down arrow next to your existing charity at the top of the screen. Once the charity information window opens, click on “Change” and search for CCA. Once you have selected CCA, you should receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to make your purchases count. Basically, if you always use https://smile.amazon.com to make your Amazon purchases and with CCA selected as your charity, a portion of your purchases is donated to CCA.

Benevity Causes – CCA is registered with Benevity Causes. Benevity is an organization that facilitates corporate giving. This includes employer matches to employee monetary donations and employer donations based on employee volunteer hours. Many local large employers including nearly all the high-tech companies use Benevity for their corporate giving benefits. Each company policy may be different, so please ask your employer today. If your employer has a corporate giving benefit that is through another organization, please let me know so we may register with that organization as well. Examples of how CCA may benefit are employer matches of Swim-A-Thon donations and employer donations based on hosted meet volunteer hours and even ordinary timing shift hours!

Sponsorship Opportunities – We are introducing our new CCA SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM!  We are looking for organizations, businesses, and even individuals who share our core values of Character, Community, and Family.  Sponsors will receive excellent exposure to the swim community during our hosted meets and away meets plus exposure to the Roseville community in general by anyone visiting the Roseville Aquatic Complex. Exposure will come in the form of personalized tents, starting block plaques, scoreboard advertisements, and banners displayed on deck. In addition, sponsors can expect support digitally through our website and social media pages. If you know of a business or organization or if you or anyone you know would be interested in taking part, please contact finance@ccaswimming.org for more information and terms.
