End of the Season Updates

Greetings PASA Rinconada Families,

I hope you are enjoying your summer.  I wanted to reach out to all of you with some changes that will be taking place with the website, online registrations, and some important information regarding end of the year billing.

We are in the process of transitioning our website with Team Unify to the updated CMS version.  In the next few days we will flip the switch to the new site.  Log-ins will not change but the home page may look a little different.  Please be patient with us as I am sure there will be bugs that will need to be worked out but we wanted it up and running for the new season.

Some changes that will be taking place with the online registrations will be the addition of the USA Swimming Safe Sport requirement for all families called the Minor Athlete Abuse Protection Program.(MAAPP).  There will be a tab on the Home Page titled Safe Sport.  Each family will be required to read and understand this policy and sign an acknowledgment form which will be part of the registration forms that will need to be turned in along with the Emergency Form and the Registration Receipt.  Swimmers will not be allowed to participate until these important documents have been received.

In addition there will be a tab titled Swim Store on the Website Home page for the link to purchase the PASA Registration Bundle which will include the following items:

  • Team Suit w/logo
  • Team Back embroidered with logo and swimmers name
  • Unique PASA Bag Tag with your childs name on it
The price of the Registration Bundle is $115.  Families will not pay the vendor directly.  I will be adding the charges to accounts at the end of September for orders placed at the beginning of the season.  It is strongly recommended that families purchase during the registration period as prices will increase for orders placed after 10/31.  There will also be some additional items available for purchase on this site.
 
For families that have participated in the Non- Competitive Group the registration link is now open. Please go to the Non Competitive Tab and click on the registration link. For returning Competitive Swimmers, the registration link will be open on 08/26/2019.  The only form of payment for registration is via Credit Card.  This is the same as last season.  There is a change for this season in regards to monthly dues payments/expenses.   Monthly dues will need to paid via ACH/Direct Debit or Credit Card only. The ACH/Direct Debit method is the preferred method.  The team is charged transacation fees for the montly credit card transactions.
 
I will be invoicing for any travel expenses incurred the past few weeks and for volunteer hour shortfalls at the end of this month. Please log into your account or send me an email to check your hours. If families do not meet the obligation for hours they will be billed at the rate of $35.00/hour for each hour not reported. All outstanding balances must be paid by the end of August or they will be added to your registration fee.  Outstanding balances cannot carryover to the new season.
