Letter To Our Membership from Head Coach-Tony Batis

Ava Thompson
Dear Members,
With the unprecedented events of the last couple of weeks, I wanted to send out a letter to you updating where our program currently is.  Cities, counties, schools, universities, etc... have all been made to make difficult decisions with a lot of uncertainty and now PASA-Rinconada must do the same.  I have been contacted by Stanford University today and until further notice outside club groups will no longer be able to use their facility.  In addition, the City Council of Palo Alto, will meet Monday to decide whether to keep Rinconada open and how long a closure might be.  As of today, Rinconada and all of our workouts that are held there will be cancelled through this Monday, March 16th.  Once I obtain further information from them, I will update the membership as to how long the closure will be.
While I will not pretend to know all of the answers to this event, I do know that your children's safety as well as your families will be paramount in how we proceed further.  I am hoping for a timely resolution to this for us, but the reality is that this may take some time.  In the interim, your child's coach will continue to send out updates and any plan of action that we determine to be safe and warranted.  Should you have any specific questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact me and I will do my best to help.  Thank you and please stay safe.
