PLEASE READ: Important information regarding USA Swimming and Monthly Dues

Good afternoon PASA Rinconada Families,

I hope everyone is doing well.  I am sending information regarding USA Swimming Registration for returning members and recurring monthly dues beginning on Oct. 1.  If you have a Non-Comp swimmer, monthly dues do not apply to you so you can disregard.

USA Swimming Registration:

If you have a returning swimmer or a new swimmer that needs to register with USA Swimming for the 2022-2023 season, here is the registration link:  All swimmers that are members of PASA have to be registered with USA Swimming.  This is not optional.

First, you will need to create a family account if your swimmer is under 16.  The account will be in the parent’s name and the information used to set up the account is all about the parent.  If you have not been on the new site, everyone is new and will need to create a new account.  Once you have successfully created the parent account, log out.  You will need to log back in using the same link above and when you sign in it should bring you to a screen that says 2022-2023 USA Swimming registration and you should see the LSC as PACIFIC and the Club as Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics.  You will then check the box next to the question is this registration for someone other than the person logged in.  You will then be able to enter your members information.  When you get to the question that asks if this swimmer has been registered before click yes if they are a returning swimmer and once you put the information in it should populate some of their information and their new ID.  Please follow the prompts and you will need to acknowledge some disclosures.  When you get to the type of membership, please select Premium Athlete and the fee is $87. The fee is per swimmer so if you have multiple swimmers you will have to repeat the process and each one. 

Recurring Monthly dues:

The monthly dues will be invoiced and processed on October 1.  All families with swimmers on the competitive team are required to set up Auto Pay.  You can pay via ACH (direct debit from checking or savings account) or Credit Card.  If you select to pay via credit card an admin fee will be applied to the monthly dues.  I have sent an email out to families that do not have a payment method selected on their account.  I will send an additional email out to the families tonight that have selected the credit card method of payment to confirm.  If you do not wish to pay via credit card, you can log in to your Team Unify account and add a bank account for direct debit from your checking or savings account.  If you need assistance with this, please let me know.
