This Week:

Today, 4/24: Team Photo Day at Mills from 12 to 3pm. Due to our team photo all practices are canceled. Please review the attached email for more information regarding timing, drop-off and pick-up procedures.

Fri, 4/29: Platinum PM practice canceled due to High School league meet 

Sat, 4/30 and Sun, 5/1: Our Saturday and Sunday practices at Mills need to be adjusted because of their Swim-a-Mile event. Due to this, Gold and Platinum will swim from 6-8pm on Saturday and Sunday at Mills and Blue will swim with Bronze at ECCL on Sunday from 12-1:30pm.

Important Dates:

5/14: HOLD THE DATE - Now open to Silver group- PST Internal Mock Meet for Blue, Bronze and Silver Swimmers at ECCL from 1-4pm. RSVP on our website to let us know if your swimmer will attend.

Code of Conduct:

As we make our way into the last quarter of our swim season, we want to take a moment to appreciate the relationships and friendships each practice group has built with each other. We have seen many instances of support and camaraderie, furthering our mission to promote a team environment which champions safe and healthy athletes and individual excellence. We ask parents and swimmers to review and continue to uphold all expected standards of conduct, treating each other, officials and coaches with respect and courtesy as we conclude this season.

SafeSport:

PST needs to renew its SafeSport recognition, which is mandatory for every team affiliated to USA Swimming! This requires a large portion of our members (swimmers, coaches and PARENTS) to go through training.  Please consider attending any of the following USA-Swimming training courses, all of which require registration and will count towards the mandatory training:

Meets:

5/20-22: Vallejo LCM C/B/BB Meet. Meet is open on OME! Read the Meet Sheet carefully! All Platinum and Gold swimmers are expected to attend on Friday, Saturday AND Sunday!

5/22: Mont 14&U SCY Pentathlon. All Blue, Bronze and Silver swimmers to attend. Read the Meet Sheet carefully and be ready to sign up once it opens! This is the perfect opportunity to race in all strokes and get one more SCY meet in before the end of the season.

6/4-5: Senior Open LCM Meet. Host and Meet TBD. We are no longer attending this meet.

6/11-12: Orinda LCM C/B/BB Meet. Everyone should attend this meet.

6/25-26: Senior Open LCM Meet (host: Orinda). All 13&O swimmers from Gold and Platinum should attend!

6/29: Tri Meet vs CROW and Hills. This meet will be in SCY and is a tri meet vs CROW and Hills. A super fun meet with 50s and relays for Blue, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum swimmers and a great opportunity to get one more SCY race in this season! Warm-up is scheduled for 3:30pm with the meet ending around 7:30pm.

7/8 -10: 14&U Summer JOs. All qualifiers to attend.

7/15 -17: Senior 2 P&F. All qualifiers to attend.

7/23 -24: RESL Team Competition. A super fun SCY team competition for all ages and levels!

7/28 -31: Summer Far Western Championships. All qualifiers to attend.

7/28 -31: Future Championships. All qualifiers to attend.

8/1 -5: Summer Junior Nationals. All qualifiers to attend.

Service Hours:

We want to remind you to keep an eye on your general service hours per our Service Hour Policy. To view your logged worked hours, sign in on our website, go to: ‘My Account’ - ‘Invoices/Payments’ - ‘Service Hours’. It is important that every family shares in the work of running this team - the best way to get hours is to sign up for jobs at meets or take on a team role (like officiating)! NOTE: $25 per general hour not worked will be automatically billed to your account at the end of the season.

Swim School:

Our lesson and pre-comp programs are back with limited availability and are open for registration. Our swim school helps raise funds to keep our team fees low, so please tell your friends to visit our website for more information and to enroll! 

COVID-19 Protocol: 

Follow our ‘Return to Practice Guidance’, if your swimmer has tested positive for COVID-19 or has been in close contact with an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19 before attending another swim practice.
