National Training Group (NTG)

Cost: $4500 does not include meet fees - 6x Practices a Week 

Group Requirements:
-must be in high school
-must maintain 6x practices a week throughout the entire year
-must maintain IMX score of 3000+
-must have 1 sectional qualifying time by Junior year.

Requirements to be considered for Invitation:
-Must be in 9th grade or above
-IMX Score 3000+
-Must have one of the following: 1 Sectional Qualifying Time / 3 JO
Qualifying Times / 3 Junior Champ Qualifying Times

ASA's premier level program.  High School swimmers 14 & over, who have made a commitment to swimming as their primary sport.  These athletes are expected to train all four strokes and maintain a high level IMX score.  Athletes are expected to focus on participation in meets, which lead to the National level.  The program offers water and dry land training.  All invited to this group will be required to sign a Swimmer / Parent agreement, understanding the requirements for this group and future groups.

An introductory packet will be sent out prior to the start of the season with information about the group, meet schedule, season run-down and what gear will be needed.

Advanced Seniors (ADV SR - SR)

Cost: $3600 does not include meet fees - 5x Practices a Week

Group Requirements:
-must be in high school
-must maintain 5x practices a week throughout the entire year
-two Junior Champ qualifying times

The Advanced Senior Group is for high school swimmers, ages 14 & over, who have made a serious commitment to swimming. Emphasis is on stroke mechanics, conditioning, and goal setting. Athletes are required to participate in meets, which lead to the National level. Swimmers will be re-evaluated at various times of the season to assure they are maintaining the standards of the group.  All invited to this group will be required to sign a Swimmer / Parent agreement understanding the requirements for this group and future groups.

An introductory packet will be sent out prior to the start of the season with information about the group, meet schedule, season run-down and what gear will be needed.

Seniors (Srs)

National Development Group (NDG)

Group Requirements:
-at 11-12 must maintain 5x practices a week throughout the entire year

-at 13-14 must maintain 5x practices a week throughout the entire year
-must maintain IMX score of 1800+ at 11-12 / 2200+ at 13-14

Requirements to be considered for Invitation:
-8th grade or below
-Current IMX Score (11-12) 1800+ (13-14) 2200+
-3 JO Qualifying Times

The NDG Program is for swimmers, ages 11-14, who have made swimming their primary sport.  This group is for swimmers who have demonstrated exceptional skills in the water.  The program has an emphasis on advanced stroke technique, interval training, aerobic conditioning, race strategy and goal setting.  The NDG group will focus on each swimmer's best events, while maintaining and improving their IMX score each year.  Swimmers will be re-evaluated at various times of the season to assure they are maintaining the standards of the group.  All invited to this group will be required to sign a Swimmer / Parent agreement understanding the requirements for this group and future groups.

Junior Training Group (JR - SR)

Group Requirements:
-must maintain 4x practices a week throughout the entire year
-must complete an IMX score each year at 11-14

The Junior Training Group is for swimmers, ages 11-14, who plan to compete on a regular basis while maintaining a steady practice schedule.  The program has an emphasis on advanced stroke technique, interval training, aerobic conditioning and goal setting.  Swimmers are expected to compete in every meet possible.  The JR group will maintain their IMX score for their age group 11-12s: 500 FR, 100 BK, 100 BR, 100 FL and 200 IM and 13-14s: 500 FR, 200 BK, 200 BR, 200 FL, 200 IM and 400 IM.  Swimmers will be re-evaluated at various times of the season to assure they are maintaining the standards of the group.  All invited to this group will be required to sign a Swimmer / Parent agreement understanding the requirements for this group and future groups.

Age Group 2 (AG2 - SR)

Group Requirements:
-must maintain 3x a week throughout the entire year
-must complete an IMX score at 10

The Age Group 2 group is designed to take 9-10s to the next level of commitment and competition.  The program will include stroke instruction, skill development, race strategy and goal-setting.  The program will include in-water instruction.  Swimmers are expected to compete in every meet possible.  The AG2 group will learn how to swim & compete in all five IMX (IM Xtreme) events: 200 IM, 100 BK, 100 BR, 100 FL and 200 IM.  All invited to this group will be required to sign a Swimmer / Parent agreement understanding the requirements for this group and future groups.

Age Group 1 (AG1 - SR)

Cost: $1400 does not include meet fees - 3x practices a week offered from September to May

Group Requirements:
-must maintain 2x practices a week throughout the entire year

The Age Group 1 group is designed to teach younger swimmers all four strokes, starts, turns, finishes, advanced skills and basic race strategy.  Swimmers are expected to compete in every meet possible.  The AG1 group will learn how to swim & compete in all five IMR (IM Ready) events: 100 FR, 50 BK, 50 BR, 50 FL and 100 IM.  The AG1 group will practice until the week prior to Memorial Day weekend.  All invited to this group will be required to sign a Swimmer / Parent agreement understanding the requirements for this group and future groups.
