Fairfax Foxes Swimming

Our 2020-201 season traditionally kicks-off in the beginning of September at Villa Aquatic Club with Foxes Training Camp. We will gather for a Foxes Parent Meeting via Zoom where you will be able to learn more information about the culture and fabric of the Foxes.  The second part of this meeting will be an apparel pick-up with a chance to meet the coaches, register for volunteer opportunities, better understand the facilities we will be using, etc. Current registered swimmers and interested swimming families are welcomed to attend this event.

The first week of practice will be Fairfax Foxes Swimming Training Camp. All practices that week will take place at Villa and will give team members an opportunity to better understand common language we will use as a program, effective drills and techniques that we value, and help build our swimming community.  More information regarding times will be available as we get closer to the date.

The 2020-2021 indoor, short course season is divided into three parts:

First cycle: September through Sunday, November 8
Total length: 10 Weeks

Second cycle: Monday, November 9 through Sunday, February 14
Total length: 14 Weeks

Third cycle: Monday, February 15 through Friday, May 7 or Sunday, May 9
Total length: 12 Weeks

- Due to the pandemic, we have a little number of spots available with our indoor facilities and scheduling will be precise with each practice.  We remain flexible with our indoor pool partners while keeping families informed of their baseline schedule.

- Pool locations and lanes are subject to change.  We will also look to modify and adjust practice times during holidays and longer breaks.

- At this time, no "modified" schedules are being accepted.

- The Sunday Foxes group only swims on Sundays from 7:30am - 8:30am at Providence Rec Center during most Sundays throughout the year.
