News from the Head Coach/ CEO
Good Afternoon,
For the 400 swimmers from OCCS that will be racing this weekend, you’re in for a fun and exciting weekend of swimming. We have another 600 swimmers from other teams joining the pool party that will provide some mid-season tune up racing before heading into the holiday championships. The meet will be run in side-by-side race courses with girls on one course and the boys on the other course (except on Saturday the 11-12 and 10 & under sessions will be splitting the courses instead of by gender). We are looking amazing for volunteers on for Saturday with just a few open spots here and there, but we do still need considerable help for the Sunday sessions. Please consider helping and joining the fun on deck!

Friday – Any OCCS shirt
Saturday – Grey 2022-23 Fearless Shirt
Sunday – Red 2022-23 Team Shirt
Concessions & Swim Gear
If you’re coming to watch some swimming and you get a hankering for some refreshments, we will have a full concessions stand on Saturday & Sunday offering spectator and swimmer favorites throughout the weekend including some Chick-Fil-A sandwiches and much more!
Also, Riptide Swim Shop will be on site offering some great discounts on practice suits and more. We also just ordered more parkas which make exceptional Christmas gifts for your favorite swimmer!
Both shops will be in the community room which is in the main hallway of Freedom Center between the bathrooms.
Thanksgiving Week Practices
There will not be any practice on Wednesday, December 23 except NTG will swim 5:00-8:00am.
There will not be any practice on Thursday, December 24 – Happy Thanksgiving!
Practices on Friday have some adjustments, please see schedule below.
Entry Deadlines
The final opportunity to change, add or remove entries for the upcoming December champ meets is SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 20 at 11:59pm. If your swimmer is waiting to finalize things, they must be finalized by Sunday night. Also, that is the last day to sign up for team travel for the WV meet.
