Potomac Marlins Membership Contract

Thank you for choosing the Potomac Marlins Swim Team.  It is our honor and privilege to be a part of your swimmer's social, emotional, and physical education and we enthusiastically  welcome them into our family of hard-working, goal driven, team-spirited student athletes. The following information is offered to aid and assist you with the on-line registration process. If you need assistance or encounter problems at any point, please contact the REGISTRAR right away. 

The Home School program requires a one-time-per-year $150 reg. fee in addition to the program fee. A ONE TIME $100 (per additional child) Sibling Discount and a %5 Active Military discount  (excluding the $150 reg. deposit) are offered for the Home School program.  Due to the limits of the system, an automatic $10 military discount is applied upon registration and the balance will then be manually applied once a copy of military orders have been verified by the registrar.  If you register for an additional session later in the year, you will not receive the muliti-swimmer discount a second time.

The Home School program does NOT include outfitting, but does allow interested swimmers to participate in meets provided they wear a Marlins team cap.  Caps can be purchased at the Team Outfitter, Sport Fair. (703-524-9500)

Registration Procedure:  The on-line registration procedure is simple.  Upon completion you will gain access to your private account which will allow you to sign-up for swim meets, volunteer jobs, and various team events.  Account access will also enable you to view your swimmer's meet time history, maintain personal contact and payment information and more.

  1. Look carefully at the practice schedule and be 100% certain of your choices (pool, session, & # of days per week.).  Swimmers may Choose 1, 2, or 3 sessions per season.  It is recommended to sign up for all anticipated sessions at initial registration to save your place in the program and to avoid being charged the $150 reg. deposit twice.  If this is not possible, the registrar must manually refund additional registration deposits.
  2. Be sure to have a credit card and/or checking account information prior to entering the system. Please note that we do NOT accept paper checks for team payments. Only credit card or ACH electronic check deposits are accepted.
  3. Be sure to have Emergency Contact and Medical History/Contact information on hand.
  4. Be sure to have the mailing address, phone and e-mail contact information for all responsible parents/guardians.
  5. Complete all required info on the Registration Contract and submit.  Your credit card will be charged immediately.  ACH payments are processed on the first day of the next month.  After your registration is approved you will receive an email to set up your on-line account and enter your checking account information. Be sure to CHECK the box “USE WITH ALL FEES ASSOCIATED WITH MY ACCOUNT.  Please remember, payments are non-refundable once made.
  6. If you do not receive an immediate e-mail confirmation for your registration form, something likely went wrong and your registration was not received.  Please contact the Registrar.

Please allow up to 7 days for the registration approval process. You will receive an e-mail with your system log-in instructions. At that point, we recommend you log in and confirm all of your information and make any necessary changes or additions.
