Competitive swimming at YMCA’s has been around since the early 1900’s.  The Silver Spring Piranhas are in the Chesapeake and Potomac Swimming League that is made up of 19 teams in Maryland, Delaware, and Northern Virginia and are divided into four divisions .  The Piranhas are in the South Division along with Bethesda YMCA, Alexandria YMCA, and Randallstown YMCA.  

 

Season (September-March)

 

  • Dual Meets with our Division members

  • YMCA invitations around Maryland

  • YMCA Chesapeake and Potomac league championship where all swimmers can attend

  • YMCA District meet with teams from Maryland, Delaware, and Northern Virginia.  You must have qualifying times to attend
  • YMCA Nationals, you must have qualifying times to attend.
