Beginning swimmers benefit greatly from individualized instruction by knowledgeable coaches who are in the pool with them. That’s why Tollefson offers these classes for the youngest and newest swimmers to learn stroke fundamentals.  First, students will cover water safety skills via breathing, rolling over onto their back, proper body position, and eventually arm and leg movements for backstroke and freestyle. Many of Tollefson’s successful older swimmers and Team TOLL members began in these classes, some as young as 3 years old. Successful swimming begins with a good foundation in proper technique!

Classes meet for a half-hour once a week during one of the following times:

  • Fall, Winter and Spring:

    • Friday Evenings 6-8:00pm

    • Saturday afternoons 12:30-4:30pm

    • Sunday afternoons 12:30-4:30pm

  • Summer:
