Barracudas Artistic Swimming Launches their NEW Logo in a special way!

Barracudas Aruba
Barracudas Artistic Swimming chose a special day to officially launch their new logo: September 10th, the day in between the birthdays of coach Yami (September 9th) and coach Alva (September 11th).
Throughout the past decades, the name of the sport has evolved from water ballet to synchronized swimming to artistic swimming. Since the establishment of Barracudas, the name of the club has also evolved from De Barracuda’s to Barracudas Synchro to Barracudas Artistic Swimming. In an effort to keep up with the times and refresh the brand, we introduce the new Barracudas Artistic Swimming logo chosen by the athletes and inspired by the Bent Knee Surface Arch Position. A position in which the beauty and grace of Artistic Swimming is showcased, while also highlighting the demand in advanced water skills and the required great strength, endurance, flexibility, artistry, precise timing, as well as exceptional breath control demanded from the athletes when upside down underwater. The athletes have to exemplify dedication, discipline and motivation when learning these skills. In general, sports make a significant contribution to a young person’s life, we consider Artistic Swimming to be a vehicle in helping to teach young athletes great skills to become successful contributors to the community. As students, athletes and future leaders.
Our vision is to instill the love for artistic swimming in athletes, parents and the community of Aruba.
And our mission is to prepare and develop athletes at all levels and abilities to achieve their full potential in the sport of Artistic Swimming. We offer a well-structured environment that nurtures athletes to be able to have fun, make new friends, strive for excellence while learning about competing in a demanding team sport.
Pabien Coach Yami, Coach Alva and the entire Barracudas family.
