I have a few items as we enter a busy week with our invitational on Saturday, July 9, and our home dual meet on Monday, July 11.
Parade: We will NOT be marching as a team this year. Too many families are away or swimmers have other plans for the morning of July 4. Those who signed up to march have already been contacted about this.
Entries for our Wyomissing Invitational: We are still accepting entries from our team. Please email me directly at [email protected] and let me know what events your child(ren) would like to swim. Please do so by Wednesday. Also, remember there is a home team discount cost of $2 per event, and normally, an invitational is $4 per event. Payment options are below.
Wyomissing Wahoo Long Course Invitational: This is from our Meet Director, Kate Fanning:
Dear Wahoo families,
Our 11th Annual Wyomissing Wahoo Long Course Invitational on Saturday morning, July 9th, is quickly approaching. I want to thank you in advance for your time, talent, and treasure. This is an event where our swimmers participate but we cannot host the other county swimmers without all of your help. We have to put our best foot forward and be the best hosts possible.
To sign up to help and donate, follow these steps.

3. Under the title of our Invitational, there is a red Edit Job Setup box.
4, Click on that red box.
5. You will see many ways to donate AND volunteer.
6. Scroll through the long list - FOOD is listed first. Sign up to donate food. Detailed descriptions are provided for some items. Please follow those instructions
7. Scroll down to JOB categories and volunteer for a job.

How to Pay for Invitationals: This is from our team treasurer, Elisa Orquiza-Brown. She is giving everyone three options:
1. Zelle - They will need to know our email, [email protected] and BUSINESS CHECKING ...7342.
This is an instantaneous transaction.
2. Venmo - @MariaElisa-Orquiza - please mark as a private transaction.
This takes 2-3 days to clear my bank before I can Zelle to the swim team account.
3. Cash or check in the Wahoos Dropbox on my front porch at 1017 Wayne in Wyo.

Home Meet on Monday, July 11: About mid week, I will send out a list of swimmers we are counting on to compete in our final home dual meet against Crestwood.
