2020 Coaching Staff

Our coaching staff is committed to teaching our swimmers and divers to be the best version of themselves.

Our 2020 Coaching staff is ready to go!

The Sharks coaching staff is on the move. They are making changes. And they are ready to bring a new vibe to the team.

Head Coach: Sarah Glisan

Hey, Sharks! My name is Sarah Glisan and this is my 3rd year as the team head coach. I was a Hatfield Shark myself for 6 amazing years. After I graduated high school I swam for Penn State Club and today, I compete in the U.S. Masters Swim League.

My favorite stroke is the backstroke and outside of swimming I enjoy going to the gym and spending time with my family and friends.

Hold on to your fins because this season we are bringing a fresh new look to the team and we are ready for a super fun summer!

Go Sharks!

Head Dive Coach: Evan Meiers

Hey, Sharks! My name is Evan Meiers and I will be joining the Hatfield Sharks this year as the Head Diving Coach. I've been an assistant coach for the last several years, so I am excited to help grow the Sharks in 2020 and beyond!

I have dove for Nor-Gwyn (sorry) for the past 8 years, along with 4 years at North Penn High School. I am currently in my first year at Drexel University as a student diver studying supply chain management.

In my free time, I enjoy playing sports with my friends and watching movies with my family. I am very excited for a great season!

Go Sharks!

Assistant Swim Coach: Haley McHenry

Hi Everyone! My name is Coach Haley, AKA "The greatest coach ever!" (Just watch the end of last years video here)

This is going to be my 5th year as a coach with the Sharks. I swam for Hatfield and NPAC for many years. Currently, I attend Cabrini University where I am studying early childhood and special education.

I am looking forward to another great season!

Go Sharks!

Assistant Swim Coach: Syd Glisan

Hi Ya Sharks! My name is Syd Glisan (Yes! I am Coach Sarah's sister) AKA "The favorite one", but please don't tell her.

This will be my 2nd year as an assistant coach with the Sharks after swimming for a crazy 8 years on the best team ever!

I am studying at Temple University, completing my degree in Biology in the spring of 2021. Outside of swimming I work at the Elmwood Park Zoo and love to volunteer helping local wildlife and children with medical vulnerabilities.

I can't wait to get this season started! Go Sharks!
