Laps for Belle: Hodgkin's Lymphoma Has No Home Here.

Shark Families!

Every summer, as the swim season winds down, we reflect on ways we can give back to the community that has given us so much support.  It is a Hatfield Sharks tradition to hold a charity fundraising event at practice on the Friday of our last full week of practice.

This year we will follow that tradition. But, this year has more meaning.

Belle Sparango, a friend to so many on the swim team, a Hatfield Aquatic Center employee, and a star Lacrosse and Field Hockey athlete at NorthPenn High School has recently entered the battle of her lifetime.

Belle has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. You can read Belle's recent feature in Suburban One Sports here that details the entire story.

This year the Hatfield Sharks will be hosting Laps for Belle on July 22, 2022.

In lieu of our usual structured practice that morning, the swimmers will swim laps, as many as they can in their allotted practice time. Attached is a “Laps Form” where you can pledge to support your swimmer with a donation amount per lap that they swim. Donations can also be a flat amount of money.

You don’t need to be your swimmers only sponsor!

Over the years our swimmers have asked aunts, uncles, family, friends, and grandparents to help support them as they swim laps to support the cause.

The top fundraiser will receive a prize as a thank you for working hard to support a meaningful cause.

There is no minimum donation!

Donations will be accepted in the following ways:

  1. Cash
  2. Venmo
  3. Check (make check payable to Hatfield Sharks) The team will combine all donations and present 1 final check.

All donations and Sponsorship Forms must be returned by Tuesday, July 27th.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and your generous donation.

GO SHARKS!!!
