Michael Glumac Head Coach

Coach Glumac comes to us with 25+ years of coaching experience. He has coached the Navy Swim Club, Mechanicsburg Swim Club, and Mechanicsburg High School teams.  He is a Mechanicsburg High School Graduate. He swam for the high school as student, and then went on to swim and play water Polo at the University of California Pa. He started the Mechanicsburg Swim Club in 1992, and we are so happy to have him back coaching for us once again. When he is not on deck as Head Coach for the high school and our club, he is a busy running his business Prisimworks Technology, Inc.

Greg Bryant Assistant Coach

Coach Bryant comes to us with 42+ years of coaching experience.  He has coached Northeastern Club & High School, York High swim club & High School, ACWS Club, Central York Club, Cedar Cliff & Mechanicsburg High School teams.  He has also coached the Mechanicsburg High School Water Polo Team.  He swam for York High School.  When he is not coaching, he's a Diesel Mechanic.

Molly Martin Assistant Coach

Coach Molly came to us from Messiah College as a distance, backstroke, and IM swimmer. She loves being part of this team and is thrilled to be able to inspire and encourage our swimmers! Molly is a high school English teacher at CV and has over 7 years of coaching experience.

Kristen Urey Assistant Coach

Kristen started swimming competitively at the age of 7 for the West Shore Sea Serpents up through High School at Red Land High School.  She made varsity starting her Freshman year.     Her main event was the IM while filling in for backstroke and breaststroke as needed.  When she didn’t need to fill in, her other main event was usually long distance.   When she is not at the High School pool you can usually find her and her daughter at the YMCA practicing.  She is excited to be part of the MSC team and looks forward to the fall season.

Lori McKenney Assistant Coach

Coach Lori is super excited to be a part of the Mechanicsburg Swim Club staff. Lori has been involved with the Mechanicsburg School District since 1997 where she taught first grade at Broad Street and helped coach the cross country and track teams at the high school. She is currently an elementary substitute in the district (with her favorite class being PE) and coaches the middle school cross country team in the fall and Track Club for the Recreation Department in the spring. Lori has been running since she was 12 and loves to run and be active! She has also coached Special Olympics and a program called Girls on the Run for 6 years. Lori has 3 children Hope, who is in 10th grade and swam for the Mechanicsburg Swim Club and is now a member of the high school cross country and track teams; a daughter, Katie, who is in 7th grade at MMS and is a member of the MMS cross country team and swims for Mechanicsburg Swim Club; and a son, Ryan, who is in third grade, swims for Mechanicsburg Swim Club, and already loves to run, bike, and swim. Running/being active and encouraging people are just about Lori’s two favorite things so she is so excited to be a part of the Mechanicsburg Swim Club and work with your children. It is going to be an awesome season with these swimmers!

Makayla Gesell Assistant Coach

Makayla is a freshman at Penn State Harrisburg, studying Mechanical Engineering. She swam for 4 years prior to High School and swam all 4 years of High School for Mechanicsburg. Coach could put her in any event, and she could do it. Her favorite stroke was Butterfly and Breaststroke. This will be her third year helping the swim club. This will be her second season as a coach. She is looking forward to working with the kids this fall. When she isn't coaching, she is working at Giant, studying for her classes, or at the Gym. 

Jack Port Assistant Coach

Coach Jack is excited to serve as an assistant coach with the
Mechanicsburg Swim Club this summer. He is a former MSC swimmer who
continued his competitive swim career at Lycoming College.  He has had
the opportunity to coach many different levels of swimmers and is
currently an Assistant Coach at Dickinson College.  He also spends a
few weeks in the summer as a counselor at the University of Michigan
Swim Camp.  Coach Jack is also a teacher at Susquehanna Township High
School and still competes in masters swimming competitions.  He looks
forward to a great summer with MSC.
