Dana Hills Swim Team is proud to once again offer our Fall swim program beginning September 7th through November 19th. The program is designed to expose swimmers to advanced swim racing experience focusing on more extensive training and technical instruction as well as offering newer swimmers an opportunity for additional pool time beyond the summer season. Swimmers who participate in clinics during the offseason are shown to improve their strokes and race times!

The program also includes an offering for younger swimmers with small group lessons similar to our summer Otter Pup program.

Fall Swim Meets

Meets are very important for evaluating improvement and providing motivation. Each meet will be optional, however, swimmers should try to compete in as many fall meets as possible. This year we are partnering up with several teams from VSA to participate in rec meets in addition to some US Swimming events throughout the fall. Meets will include additional distances not available traditionally at summer meets. Meets are not covered in registration fees.

Preliminary Meet Schedule

  • September 18th - Roundhill CC
  • October 16 - HOX FALL CLASSIC @ Blackhawk CC
  • October 23-24th @ Orinda Aquatics (USA Swimming)
  • October 30th - @ SSST  or @ Orinda Aquatics (USA Swimming)
  • November 6th - @ DHST
  • November 20-21 - 14 & Under JO Last Chance - Crow Canyon (USA Swimming)
  • December 3-5 - Winter Junior Olympics - Santa Clara, CA (Qualifiers only)

USA Swimming events require swimmers to register with USA Swimming. To register for JO Last Chance and Winter Junior Olympics swimmers much meet qualification guidelines set by the meets.  USA Meets are currently tentative on the schedule.

Non-USA Swimming meets in the fall will have additional distance options for all swimmers not offered in the Summer, each meet may vary the offerings.  This is a list from the HOX Fall Classic in 2019:
