Party Information

Information for Parties at the Voorhees Swim Club

  • All parties include the following:
    • Two hours use of the pool facility.
    • Facility amenities.
    • Party area with tables, umbrellas, and chairs for your guests.
    • You must be a member in good standing.
  • Party times are typically* as follows:
    • 12 noon – 2 pm / 2:30 – 4:30 pm / 5 – 7 pm
    • *Depending on the schedule of other events, other times may be available.
    • On certain dates, these times may vary due to swim meets or club events.
    • Non-club hours (before open and up to 10 pm) will be considered on a case-by-case basis, taking into consideration time of year, staff availability, date, etc.
  • Non-members can attend parties; however, a guest fee will be required ($5 during the week, $10 on weekends/holidays).
    • All non-member children under the age of 14 are required to take the band test (if they have already done so at our pool, as a guest they do not have to take it again). The band test will be administered once all guests who need it have arrived.
    • Non-members will be required to sign our waivers. It is preferred for that to be done prior to their arrival.
  • Non-Club hours require staff on-site and will be based on the number of guests.
  • You may order or bring your own food and beverages. ABSOLUTELY NO GLASS is permitted on the premises. Please be sure that anything in a glass container is moved to a plastic container prior to your arrival.
  • All club rules and policies are in effect during a party. A club manager or shift lead must be on-premises for the duration of your party. Hosts are responsible for their guests’ behavior including noise levels and general conduct.
  • Use of grills is available. If you are a member and have paid your grill fee for the season, there is no extra charge. If you are a non-member, that fee is required.
  • Decorations such as balloons and streamers are permitted. Not permitted:  items containing glitter, paint, flammable, or other materials difficult to clean up in an outside environment (such as confetti, etc.)
  • Parties during club hours are limited to 25 guests or less.
  • For staffing purposes, we ask that parties be scheduled at least a week in advance.
  • If the pool is closed due to weather conditions, your party can be rescheduled for the next available date.
  • All parties are priced at 2 hours, additional hours are charged in one-hour increments.

MEMBERS COSTS

During Club Hours

$20 deposit, plus guest fees as applicable

Non-Club Hours

$25 deposit, $200 plus staff fees as applicable

NON-MEMBERS COSTS

During Club Hours

$25 deposit, $250

Non-Club Hours

$50 deposit, $350 plus staff fees

Grill Use Fee

ADDITIONAL STAFFING COSTS

Manager/Shift Lead

$100 up to 4 hours*payment only required for non-club hours

Lifeguard (1 per 20 guests)

$75 each up to 4 hours*payment only required for non-club hours

Additional Hours

$50/hour during club hours, $100/hour during non-club hours

Party Host

$20 per hour, available for hire during club hour or non-club hours. Host is NOT a lifeguard, but someone who can help with serving, questions, etc.
