Welcome to Otters Swimming!  We are excited to be back at Lebanon Valley College (LVC) for our winter swim season this year. The Lebanon Valley Swim Team (LVST) partners with LVC to provide Competitive Swim Instruction along with the opportunity to participate in Age Group Competive Swim Meets (competitive or 4fun teams). As such, there are two fees that go along with winter swimming.  The first fee is paid to LVC for Competitive Swim Instruction (daily practice times) and the second fee is paid to LVST for competitive swim meet participation, team gitft, team banquet, and team communication. Please read all registration information prior to registering.

In order to participate in winter swimming, every swimmer must pay the LVC fee for Competitive Swim Instruction.  If swimmers also choose to participate in our competitive swim team or 4fun team, then a second fee is paid to LVST. We strongly recommend that every swimmer also participates in either the LVST competitive team or 4fun team. Beginning swimmers are encouraged to participate in meets once they feel comfortable swimming from one end of the pool to the other. This gives them a chance to apply what they are learning at practice and to see how they are improving. Participating in swim meets also helps boost beginner swimmers' confidence and helps build the sense of team that occurs during swim meets.

To register for the LVC Competitive Swim Instruction, download the LVC Competitive Swim Instruction form from the "Documents" tab on the swimotters.org website. This form should be completed and returned to Mary Gardner at Lebanon Valley College.  Every swimmer must complete and return this form before entering the pool. The registration form (on page 3) and payment (in the form of a check) should be mailed no later than October 12th, 2022 to: Lebanon Valley College, Attn: Mary Gardner, LVC Sports Center, 101 N. College Ave, Annville, PA 17003.

Fees for the LVC Competitive Swim Instruction Program
(check made payable to “LVC." This fee must be given to Mary Gardner)

• $290 - Group A (High School Swimmers Only ages 13 & up capable of 2 hours of intense swimming)
• $220 - Group B (Middle Age Group Swimmers ages 10-18)
• $180 - Group C (Little & Young Age Swimmers ages 4-10)
• Masters- Price TBD
• Swim School HS Swimmers (Cedar Crest, Palmyra, Lower Dauphin, Central Dauphin, etc)- Price TBD. Please text Jim (717-270-7012) and let him know if you will be swimming with the Otters. He will communicate pricing in a few weeks.

In order to participate in the competitive and 4fun teams, click on the "Otters Winter '22-'23 Registration" button on the swimotters.org website. Complete the online registration and submit LVST fee for the LVST Competitive and 4Fun teams. We strongly recommend that every swimmer also participates in either the LVST competitive team or 4fun team.

There are two team options to select from this year:

• The Competitive Team will practice, compete in swim meets, attend the team banquet, receive the team gift, and have access to our website and receive email notifications.
• The 4Fun Team will practice, attend the team banquet, receive the team gift, and have access to our website and receive email notifications.  If at any time your swimmer decides to switch to the competitive team, they will need to pay the difference in registration fees. 

When completing the online registration, you will need to register all your swimmers at the same time to earn a multi swimmer discount. If you register one swimmer now and then try to register another swimmer later, you will NOT receive the multi swimmer discount.

LVST Fees for the '22-'23 Winter Season

• Option #1 ($45 first swimmer, $40 additional swimmers) - Competitive Team: will practice, compete in swim meets, including Invitational meets, league registration fee, team banquet, team gift, website access, and email communication.
• Option #2 ($20 first swimmer, $15 additional swimmers) - 4Fun team: will practice, attend team banquet, receive team gift, and have website access and email communication

We are pleased to offer electronic payment processing and registration. The process is simple for both new and returning members. You'll get access to your own private account that will enable you easily declare for swim meets, sign-up for jobs, see your children's swim times histories, maintain your own contact information, and more.

-Returning Families (if you have already created an account): click on the green "Continue/Check Status" button, and sign into your account.

-Returning Families that did not swim for the Otters during Summer 2022 (ie- Our Otters families that swim for Hummelstown in the summertime): Go to the Otters website, but DO NOT try to sign in first.  Instead, click on the "Registration" button, click on the green "Continue/Check Status" button, enter your email and password and click on the blue "Continue" button.

-New Families (families that have never swam for LVST): click on the green "Continue/Check Status" button, and then click on the green "Create New Account" button located underneath the section where existing users enter their username and password.  This will allow you to add all the information about your swimmers and create a new account to register.
