2023 – 2024 SEQUOIA FARMS WINTER SWIM PROGRAM

Location:  Cub Run Rec Center; 4630 Stonecroft Blvd; Chantilly, VA 20150.

Day and Time:  Sundays 6:00pm – 7:00pm

 

Winter Swim Program:

The Sequoia Farms Swim Team Winter Swim Program will begin September 10, 2023 and will
run through May 19, 2024. This year’s program will be held at the Cub Run Rec Center.
Winter swim will be Sunday evenings from 6:00pm – 7:00pm.

 

Why Winter Swim?

Winter swim is designed to develop and improve stroke techniques, assist
beginning swimmers, prepare for the 2024 summer swimming season, and have fun! Children
must be 5 years old by the first session of winter swim and be able to swim the length of a pool
(25 meters), unassisted, in at least one stroke.

 

Our Coaches:

•  Coach Lee Walker and Coach Tony Mossburg:  Will be responsible for the intermediate and advanced lanes.
•  Coach Matt McNerney: Will be responsible for the beginner lane.
•  There will be assistant coaches in all lanes.
• Our SFST coaches will focus on improving swimmer technique and stroke mechanics.

 

No Swim Dates for the 2023-2024 Season:

• 11/26, 12/3, 12/10, 12/17, 12/24, 12/31, 2/11, 3/24, 3/31, 5/12.

 

Fees:

The cost for 2023 Summer Stingray Swimmers:

• First Swimmer: $250.00 
• Second Swimmer: $230.00 
• Third Swimmer: $210.00

The cost for Non-Stingray swimmers:

• $350 per swimmer (includes the required insurance fee)

Please note: No Refunds Issued after Septemeber 25th, 2023.
