Welcome to the LMYA Dolphins' 2020 Fall Swim Camps

Our online registration is now open! The online registration process is simple and straight forward. It will allow you to establish or renew a private account to register and process secure credit card payments.  

Camps will be filled on a first come, first served basis.  We have capped initial registration at 60 campers, but may have to reduce this number further.  You should register under the registration group "LMYA 2020 Fall Swim".  If this group is full, you should select registration group "LMYA 2020 Fall Swim Waitlist".  Your credit card will not be charged if you are on the waitlist.

 

LMYA 2020 FALL SWIM:

 

When:  Saturdays and Sundays only,  September 12 - October 11, 2020

             3:00pm - 4:00pm

Where:  Campolindo Pool

Who:     LMYA Swim Team Members will have priority, then open to swimmers on a first come, first served basis; 

              Offered to swimmers age 6 - 18 yrs.  MUST BE ABLE TO SWIM UNASSISTED;

Cost:  $195 for 5 weeks

 

Fall Swim camps will focus on stroke technique, starts and turns, dives, and IM and relay starts and transitions. 

 

We will run 5 camps at one time across Campolindo's  pools.  We will have 4 camps in the competition pool, and 1 camp in the lap pool (maximum depth 5ft).  Camps in the competition pool will begin on alternating sides of the pool, 3 swimmers/lane, 4 lanes per camp.  There will be empty lanes between each camp.  Camps in the lap pool will be structured similarly, however, there will only be 1 camp using the lap pool at any one time.  The camps will run in accordance with the school district?s guidelines, which are in accordance with the county guidelines and will be organized as follows:

 

  1. Camps will be comprised of no more than 12 children.
  2. Each camp will have 1 coach who will coach only those 12 children for the duration of the camp (6 weeks).
  3. Swimmers and coaches are only permitted to participate in 1 camp during this 6 week period (i.e., cannot also be attending soccer camp or water polo camp, etc.)
  4. Camps are not allowed to co-mingle; once a swimmer is assigned to his/her camp, we cannot move him/her to another camp.
  5. Parents will not be allowed to accompany their children onto the pool deck.  There will be a designated drop off area.
  6. All swimmers and coaches must wear a mask prior to entering the pool deck.
  7. All swimmers must come wearing their swim suit;  no locker rooms or changing facilities are available
  8. All swimmers must bring their own goggles, towel, swim cap, and fins.  No sharing of equipment.
  9. Campers are not permitted to attend camp if:
    1.  anyone in the household has symptoms of or tested positive for COVID-19; 
    2. they have been exposed to anyone who has symptoms of or has tested positive for COVID-19
    3. they have a fever, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell, or other symptoms listed by the CDC
    4. they are attending multiple camps concurrently
  10. Hand sanitizer will be placed at the entrance to the aquatic facility
  11. Coaches reserve the right to deny entrance and/or remove any and all swimmers who they deem not in compliance with stated protocols.
