Welcome to the LMYA Dolphins' 2020 Summer Camps

Our online registration is now open! The online registration process is simple and straight forward. It will allow you to establish or renew a private account to register and process secure credit card payments.

Camps will be filled on a first come, first served basis.  We have capped initial registration at 120 campers, but may have to reduce this number further.  You should register under the registration group "2020 July Summer Camp Registration".  If this group is full, you should select registration group "2020 July Summer Camp Waitlist".  Your credit card will not be charged if you are on the waitlist.

LMYA Swim Camps - Session 2 will be held July 6 - July 31, 2020

All camp details are subject to change pending final approval from the school district.

Camps will likely be held at Campolindo High School - Soda Center from 9:00 - 10am and 10:15 - 11:15am.

The July camp session will run for 4 weeks, Monday ? Friday, July 6th ? July 31st

All camps will be filled on a first come, first served basis.  We hope to be able to offer 10 camps - with up to 6 camps occuring at one time at the 3 Campolindo pools.  All camps will run in accordance with all social distancing guidelines.  There will be designated drop off and pick up areas;  masks are required;  campers should only be enrolled in one camp during this time period.

Coach Jack will be on the pool deck as lifeguard, overseeing all of our camps.

Registration fees for our 4 week camps beginning July 6th are $280.

Our requested timeframe is 9:00am - 11:30am.  We expect our camps will run for approximately 1 hour.

Once you register, we will place your camper in a camp of 12 children, based on age and/or ability to the best of our knowledge.  You cannot request a specific time slot.  You cannot change camps.  For those families with more than 1 swimmer, it is highly likely all of your children will be able to practice at the same time.  AND no parent job requirements!

We will notify all families of their swimmer's camp name, coach's name, start and end time, with all drop off and pick up instructions prior to camp start date on July 6th.

Please note:  parents are NOT allowed on the pool deck

Due to COVID-19, there are a number of new guidelines for use of the pool and organization of the camps. These guidelines are as follows:

  1. Camps will be comprised of no more than 12 children.
  2. Each camp will have 1 coach who will coach only those 12 children for the duration of the camp (4 weeks).
  3. Swimmers and coaches are only permitted to participate in 1 camp during this 4 week period (i.e., cannot also be attending soccer camp or water polo camp, etc.)
  4. Camps are not allowed to co-mingle; once a swimmer is assigned to his/her camp, we cannot move him/her to another camp.
  5. Camps are offered to 5 & 6 year olds ? ONLY IF THEY HAVE PARTICIPATED IN A SWIM TEAM PREVIOUSLY, through 17 year olds.  All swimmers must be able to swim 25 yards unassisted.
  6. Parents will not be allowed to accompany their children onto the pool deck.  There will be a designated drop off area.
  7. All swimmers and coaches must wear a mask prior to entering the pool deck.
  8. All swimmers must come wearing their swim suit;  no locker rooms or changing facilities are available
  9. All swimmers must bring their own goggles, towel, swim cap, and fins.  No sharing of equipment.
  10. Campers are not permitted to attend camp if:
    1.  anyone in the household has symptoms of or tested positive for COVID-19;
    2. they have been exposed to anyone who has symptoms of or has tested positive for COVID-19
    3. they have a fever, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell, or other symptoms listed by the CDC
    4. they are attending multiple camps concurrently
  11. Hand sanitizer will be placed at the entrance to the aquatic facility
  12. Coaches reserve the right to deny entrance and/or remove any and all swimmers who they deem not in compliance with stated protocols.
