Welcome to the LMYA Dolphins' 2023 Preseason Sunday Stroke Clinics and April Conditioning

The LMYA Sunday Stroke Clinics and April Conditioning are structured to provide high-quality stroke and turn instruction to experienced swimmers and prepare swimmers for a successful summer season. 

The Sunday Stroke Clinics will start Sunday, March 5th, and will emphasize one stroke each Sunday for a total of 8 clinics (each stroke will be covered twice, see dates below). You may sign up to attend all 8 clinics or pick any 4. 

The April Conditioning sessions will begin on Tuesday, April 11th, and will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in April.

The Stroke Clinics and April Conditioning are both for experienced swim team members who must be able to swim 25 yards of freestyle with proper side breathing. If you have questions about your swimmer's experience level please contact [email protected] before registering.

All sessions held at Acalanes High School except Sunday 3/26 which will be held at Campolindo High School.

APRIL CONDITIONING (Tuesdays & Thursdays)

Tuesdays and Thursdays 4/11-4/27, 6 days total

Practice times are assigned based on 2023 summer swim team age (swimmer's age on 6/15/2023). There may be slight changes to provide balance in the number of swimmers and/or pace of practice over the different time slots.

REGISTRATION COSTS 

Any 4 Sunday Stroke Clinics	$130
All 8 Sunday Stroke Clinics	$220
April Conditioning	$170
All 8 Sunday Stroke Clinics AND April Conditioning	$360

There are four registration groups (2023 April Conditioning, 2023 Sunday Stroke Clinics (4 of 8), 2023 Sunday Stroke Clinics (all 8), 2023 April conditioning and Sunday Stroke Clinics) and if you want the $30 discount for all 8 Sundays and April conditioning, please be sure to choose that group rather than the two separate Sunday and April groups.

REFUNDS

We will offer refunds (minus a $50 administrative fee) before the first session starts but after that, there will be no refunds.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT COUNTY ELIGIBILITY

As a reminder, to remain eligible for the Contra Costa County Championship Meet, no recreational swimmer can participate in lessons/clinics in excess of 15 hours between 12/1/22 and 4/1/23.
