Board Elections

Each family of the Dolfins is a member of the Dolfins Parent Club, which is run by a board of directors who serve two year terms. Elections are held each year at Awards night for half of the board positions. Awards night this year is on August 18 – watch for more details to come in a separate email. We are currently accepting nominations for the positions that are up for election this year: 

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Board Member at Large – Fundraising
  • Board Member at Large – Team Operations
  • Board Member at Large – Meet Operations
  • Board Member at Large – Battle of the Ages
  • Board Member at Large – Snack Shack (1 year term)

Board Member must attend monthly meetings, held the second Monday of the month at 7pm at the District Office, 147 Gregory Lane. For more information on board member responsibilities, we encourage you to review the Parent Club By-Laws and other information posted on the Parent Board page of the website (you must be logged in to the website to see the Board page - or to talk to a current board member.

Board Members are exempt from general work assignments, but are expected to step in when jobs are empty or an extra hand is needed.
