About Our Team

The Bobcat Swim Club is for children ages 5 to 14 for the winter season and ages 5 to 18 during the summer season. The club provides an opportunity for all children to engage in a wholesome lifestyle and recreational activity. The program emphasizes the promotion of sportsmanship, team spirit, physical fitness, and swim training.

The Bobcat Swim Club is part of the Capital Area Swim League during the summer and First Capital Swim League during the winter.

Practices and home meets are held at: Northeastern High School 300 High Street Manchester, PA 17345-1599

The Bobcat Swim Club offers training and practice groups for swimmers of all ages and ability levels. It is the goal of the Bobcat Swim Club to offer age specific training for all of our athletes geared toward challenging each individual and developing each individual to the best of THEIR abilities.

We are here to support your needs. If your questions are related to workouts, meets, events, goal setting, and other swimming related needs, please contact one of the Coaching Staff. Competetive Swim Levels

Coaches will determine a swimmer's level during practices. As general guidelines, the levels are listed below:

Mastered: Ability to swim the length of the pool with proper breathing

Skill Development: Freestyle and Backstroke

Workout Days/Times: M, T, W, Th, 5:15 to 6:00 pm

Mastered: Freestyle and Backstroke

Skill Development: Butterfly, Breaststroke, Starts and Turns

Workout Days/Times: M, T, W, Th, 6:00 to 7:00p

Mastered: Ability to swim 50 yards of each stroke, perform starts and turns, complete 100 IM,
and tolerate a moderately intense practice 4-5 days/week.

Skill Developments: Polishing strokes and endurance

Workout Days/Times: M, T, W, Th 7:00-8:30pm and *Friday 6:00-7:30pm

Description: This is for advanced swimmers preparing for High School Swimming. Swimmers need to be
independent with warm-ups and tolerate an intense practice. Focus is on competition, speed and endurance.
Generally, a level 4 swimmer will complete a 50 Free in under 35 seconds and a 100 Free in under 1:15.
