Lyndsay Schaeberle

In BSC's 2012 summer season, Lyndsay took over as head coach. She graduated from Northeastern High School in 1996 and was a four-year swimmer on the swim team. Lyndsay graduated from Bloomsburg University in 2000 with a degree in Social Welfare and a minor in Sociology. Lyndsay earned her teaching certificate in Elementary Education/Special Education from Eastern University. For four years Lyndsay taught at York County School of Technology through the LIU. In 2004 Lyndsay began coaching for the Bobcat Swim Club where she met her future husband, Dan Schaeberle. As an assistant coach, Lyndsay began coaching for the Northeastern High School Swim Team in 2006. In addition to her coaching duties, Lyndsay is a stay-at-home mom to Claire and Chase.

Adam Ellis

Adam has been coaching with the Bobcat Swim Club since the summer of 2005. He began swimming at five years old for the BSC and swam on the Northeastern High School for four years. For the last three years, he has also been an assistant coach with the High School team. He also attended college at HACC. When not at the pool, Adam enjoys playing ultimate frisbee and going to the beach. He is also an avid sports fan following the Orioles, Nittany Lions, and Philadelphia Eagles.



 

 

 

Nicole Henry

Nicole started coaching with the Bobcat Swim Club in the summer of 2018. She started swimming at the age of 8 and swam 4 years with the Greater Latrobe High School Team graduating in 2001. Nicole finished her swimming career with 4 years at West Chester graduating in 2005 with a degree in Elementary Education. During high school and college, she taught swim lessons and coached for a couple different club teams. After graduating, she worked for 8 years as a 1st and 2nd grade teacher and received her Master's in Reading from York College. Nicole now stays at home with her two daughters Brynn and Kaelyn. When she’s not at the pool, Nicole enjoys running, taking group fitness classes, crafting and cooking.

 


 

 

 

Bryant Hughes

Winter 2014-2015 was Bryant's first season with the Bobcats. As a Delaware native, Bryant was a member of the 2011 DIAA All-State team for high school swimming. He graduated from York College in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Writing and where he was a four-year member of the varsity swim team and holds two school records. Bryant currently works at Do It Outdoors as an Account Manager. For fun Bryant loves competing in triathlons and watching the Philadelphia Eagles and 76ers!



 

 

 

Sarah Posey

Sarah started coaching with the Bobcat Swim Club the summer of 2016. She started swimming in 2009 for the bobcat swim club and swam for 3 years. Then, she joined the high school team and swam for 4 years. While in high school Sarah has taught swimming lessons at the pool since 2013. She graduated from Northeastern High School in 2016 and will be attending Elizabethtown College starting in the fall of 2016, majoring in occupational therapy. When not at the pool, she enjoys hiking, fishing, babysitting, and spending time with her family and friends.



 

 

 

Dan Schaeberle

Dan graduated from Dallastown High School in 1999 and was a four year letter winner on the swim team. He graduated from West Chester University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology where he was a four year swimmer for the West Chester swim team. In 2009, Dan graduated from Wilkes University with a Master’s of Science degree in Education. He started teaching at Northeastern in 2005 and is currently teaching Aquatics at the high school. He has been the head high school swim coach since the 2003–2004 school year. Dan is the father if current BSC swimmers Claire and Chase and the husband to head coach Lyndsay. When he is not at the pool Dan likes to run and cheer on his favorite teams: Duke basketball, the Super Bowl LII Champion Philadelphia Eagles, the Philadelphia Philles, Flyers, and 76ers.



 

 

 

Josh Starner

Josh joined the BSC coaching staff in the summer of 2015. He started swimming at the age of 9 for the Trojan Aquatic Club. He then swam for York Suburban High School and still holds a 200 Freestyle Relay record from 1998. After graduation, Josh attended Penn State York & Harrisburg as well as Shippensburg University, earning a Master's in Management Information Systems. During college he taught swim lessons at the Jewish Community Center, coached the Trojan Aquatic Club, and then became an assistant coach of Cedar Cliff High School for 5 years. Most recently, Josh finished 2 years of U.S. Masters Swimming and competed at the Colonies Zones Championships at  George Mason University. You can find him practicing every weekend at L.A. Fitness. Josh is very excited to bring his children Masin, Miles, and wife Sandy to be part of the BSC family!



 

 

 

George Turner

George began swimming competitively at age 7 for the Lansdale Swim Team in the summer and North Penn Aquatic Club in the winter. He swam and played water polo for 4 years at North Penn High School and then swam and played water polo for 4 years at Slippery Rock University where he earned a degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Gerontology. George returned to coach for the North Penn Aquatic Club for one year after college before moving to the Manchester area where his wife Jennifer is from. Jen is coincidentally a swimmer herself who began with the Northeastern High School Swim Team and then also went on to swim at Slippery Rock where they met. (She was also Coach Adam’s age group coach, but doesn’t like to admit she is that old.) He is currently employed at Cross Keys Village in New Oxford and continues to swim at LA Fitness where he sometimes crosses paths with coaches Josh and Bryant. About once or twice a year he dusts off his race googles and tries to compete in a Master’s swim meet. George joined the BSC coaching staff in the winter of 2018. His son Austin swims for the team when he’s not playing baseball and despite their best efforts, their daughter Gretchen refuses to swim, but enjoys playing soccer and basketball.
