Welcome to the Miles River Yacht Club Marlins Swim Team. We are a summer swim team that trains and competes at the Miles River Yach Club in St. Michaels, Maryland.  

Our team is ope to children age 5-18 years of age. 

The goal of our team is to provide every member, from novice to experienced competitor, an opportunity to improve their swimming skills and achieve personal success. Through daily practice and social events, MRYC swimmers build lasting friendships and leave as stronger more competent swimmers. 

Our team belongs to the Delmarva Swim Association, a group of 25 swim teams who compete across the Delaware, Maryland and Virginia peninsula. Meets take place Monday and Thursday evenings from late June through most of July. 

We have a professional coaching staff and also offer opportunities for older swimmers to move up to junior coaching positions.

The Miles River Yacht Club Swim Team is run by its team of experienced parents which meets several times throughout the year. Swimming on our team is a family affair. Our meets are run by parent volunteers. At least one parent per swimmer is required to volunteer at meets or behind the scenes. Volunteer duties are as easy as clicking a stopwatch and as complicated as managing an entire meet. Almost everyone agrees that these duties are actually a lot of fun and a great way to meet new people.
