Maddie has been swimming for WHO since 2010 and loved it so much she decided to become an Otter Pup coach, then the head Otter Pup coach, then a Junior swim coach and is now thrilled to be an Assistant Coach this year.  She loves WHO spirit and coaching our awesome swimmers.  Maddie will also continue swimming for the WHO. She won conference in freestyle both her 13-14 years and has been on two relay teams that hold team records.  She is heading to the University of Maryland in the fall and plans to double major in education and history, and continue her other passion by playing on their Club lacrosse team.

Lauren swam on WHO since 2009 and has held multiple team records in backstroke and relays and was Conference high-point winner twice. Lauren’s highlight of her WHO career was winning Conference last year with such a good group of 15/18 friends. Zoe Chapital Assistant Coach

Hi I’m Zoe Chapital! I’ve been on the otters since 2012 and this is my final year as a swimmer but my first year as a coach! I’ve also been a dedicated waterpolo player throughout high school. My specialty strokes are freestyle and breaststroke. I’m so excited to be a part of this coaching staff and contribute to the camaraderie of WHO! GO WHO YA WHO WOO WHO I dWHO!

Alexa Kennedy Assistant Coach

Hey team! I am currently a junior at Las Lomas High School and have been swimming at WHO for 8 years, starting as a 7/8. Swimming is my favorite sport, as well as the best way in my opinion to spend your summer. My favorite stroke is breaststroke, and I have broken a breaststroke record. As a kid I always looked up to my coaches, and I am so excited to now be an assistant coach and help young swimmers reach the best of their abilities. The WHO team is an amazing way to make new friends and have fun. This coming season, I will work with the other coaches to make this summer lots of fun and full of spirit! See you all on the pool deck!
