No pop-ups tents.

Please bring your own chair.

Please pack light; as a reminder we ask that you arrive just in time for your swimmer’s warm-up, and depart immediately after your swimmer’s last race.

OBSERVERS

To ensure that physical distance can be maintained, reduce potential crowding, and maintain outdoor capacity limits allowed by Tiers:

  • Observers on deck are limited to one adult per family.  If a swimmer’s parent is working a Meet Job, a second parent or guardian may attend as an Observer.
  • Siblings who are not participating in the current portion of the meet may not be on the pool deck.
  • Observers must stay at least 6 feet from non-household members and wear face coverings at all times.
  • Observers may stand in areas designated for spectating.  Observers are not allowed in the areas behind the blocks where swimmers are staged prior to their races.

USE OF THE FACILITY

  • This event is NOT open to the public.  Facilities are closed to non-team Las Trampas Pool Members during the swim meet.
  • There are two restrooms on the pool deck, which will be open for use and will be disinfected every 30 minutes by the pool monitor.
  • The restrooms may not be used for changing.  Changing stalls will be off-limits.
  • No more than 2 people at a time are allowed in the bathrooms.
  • Swimmers are expected to arrive and depart in their swimsuits.
  • The diving well and toddler pool are closed during swim meets.
  • The snack shack will be closed for the 2021 season. Las Trampas will have limited “grab and go” items available for purchase, such as drinks and pre-packaged snacks.
  • Showers are not available for use.
  • Water fountains are turned off and may not be used.

RACE LOGISTICS

  • Only 1 swimmer may stand immediately behind each block at all times.
  • No more than 3 heats at a time will report to the staging area behind the blocks.  One heat will be at the blocks with the next two heats reporting to the assigned staging spots, behind the timer seats.
  • Las Trampas will provide a basket at each lane for swimmers to drop their masks and towels immediately in before racing.  For 25-yard races, two dedicated Basket Runners will transfer the baskets from one end of the pool to the other end of the pool.  The LTST Basket Runners will transfer baskets for both teams.  Baskets will be disinfected between heats.
  • No flyover starts, to minimize the time swimmers spend next to each other without their masks.

RELAYS

  • Medley Relay will be featured at Wednesday meets only.
  • Freestyle Relay will be featured at Saturday meets only.
  • One heat of relays only per gender per age group.
  • Swimmers will be socially distanced at all times behind the blocks.
  • Masks are required until the swimmer is racing and required when the swimmer exits the water.  Again, LT-provided baskets carrying swimmers’ masks and towels will be transferred from one end of the pool to the other by LT-staffed Runners during 100-yard relay races.
