2020 LTST Swim Skills Camp

Open for Returning Members

Open for New Members

5/22/20 - 5/25/20

Welcome to the Las Trampas Swim Skills Camp.

Open to current swim team families only.

June 1st-June 13th

Sessions will meet 3 Days per week- Monday/Wednesday/Friday OR Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday

Note: This camp is geared toward competitive swimming and is not a "learn to swim" program. Swimmers should have a background in competitive swimming and must be able to swim the length of the pool unassisted.

In order to comply with County guidelines, parents, guardians and siblings will not be allowed on deck.  Therefore, swimmers participating in Camp must be self-sufficient in terms of carrying their own gear, putting on their own goggles, and generally feeling comfortable without a parent on deck to assist.  We realize that this Camp will not be the right fit for all Seahorse families and we will keep you updated as guidance allows us to design a more inclusive program.

When registering your child for Camp, you may specify a preference: MWF or TThS.  If you do not have a preference, please select "No Preference" and we will assign your swimmer to a balanced group.  While age will be one consideration when assigning the swimmers to groups, we will also be balancing the groups based on a number of other factors ( i.e. siblings close in age and skill level.)  Once swimmers are assigned to a particular group, they may NOT switch groups.

  • Camp groups will consist of 12 or fewer stable swimmers.

  • One dedicated Coach will be assigned to each group of 12 swimmers; swimmers will be coached by the same coach every day.

  • Head Coach Andrew Preston will be onsite overseeing the program as Camp Director.

  • In order to maintain the safety of these stable groups of 12 swimmers, we strongly recommend that your child not participate in other camps or classes during this 2-week period.

  • After each practice session, the group-dedicated Lifeguard assigned to the group will disinfect all surfaces, shower handles and restrooms, and will check the chemical levels in the pool.

  • Social distancing amongst swimmers: Maximum of 12 swimmers in the water, across our 6 lanes of the pool.

  • No parents, siblings, or spectators will be allowed to enter the pool deck.

  • Swimmers will bring their own gear: absolutely NO shared goggles, towels, caps, kickboards, fins, paddles, water bottles, etc.

  • Swimmers must be able to put on their own goggles, carry their own belongings, and wrap themselves in their own towel at the end of practice.  Coaches will not be able to help campers with handling gear at all.

Registration is not open. Please come back later.
