The mission of Village Green Swim Team is to provide an outstanding training environment to allow swimmers to achieve their highest potential.

Our coaching strategies are to:

  1. stress proper stroke and turn techniques
  2. stress stretching, flexibility, endurance, stamina, and speed
  3. celebrate each swimmer's new personal best times at the practice following each meet
  4. require sportsmanship in and out of the water
  5. schedule every available swimmer to swim in maximum number of events per ability
  6. promote team camaraderie through regularly planned team building activities for all age groups

Our team goals are to:

  1. learn proper swimming strokes and techniques
  2. work hard in practice
  3. know personal best times
  4. display good sportsmanship
  5. be competitive to win
  6. have FUN!
