Online quizzes are available for head timer, starter and strokes and turns.
*If an official has taken three or more years of in person training for starter or strokes and turns,
then they only need to complete the online quiz.
Head timers training is only available through the quiz.

Online Training and USA Swimming Officials

Online Training is available for Starter, Strokes and Turns and Head Timer.  Head Timer training is available only online. 
Officials who have worked a JRAC meet for three or more years are eligible for Strokes and Turns and Starter online training.
Online training is comprised of a slide show, training videos and a required quiz. 
To pass the quiz, one must have a score of 80% or greater.

Current USA Swimming officials can submit names to the VP of Swimming for verification and
​do not have to take Strokes and Turns or Starter Training.
