7.24.22 - T-Minus 3 Weeks!

Happy Sunday Bengal Families! 

We are 3 weeks away from the start of practice and preparation is in full swing! Today's email will be short and sweet. 

I've attached some great Bengal Dryland options for getting physically and mentally ready for the season. We love athletes in the water but there are many ways to prepare for an amazing season. Getting into a routine and starting to think about season goals are great ways to prepare for the season. Getting into a PMA (Positive Mental Attitude) right now is also a great way to start preparing for what this season will bring. 

Make sure to mark your calendars for our important dates! 

Registration Opens - August 1st you can start registering for Girls Season on the AH-Schools website! You will need a recent physical on file (within the last 3 years) and the fee.

Kick-Off Picnic - Sunday, August 7th - We will be having our kickoff picnic at Lions Park in Ham Lake this year! From 4-6 pm we will be having a suit try-on and introduction to coaches, captains, and other teammates. All family members are welcome! Watch for more details from our Booster Club President. 7.17.22 - Mark Your Calendars!

Happy Sunday Bengal Families! 

WOW!! It feels so good to say that again! I am coming to you pre-season to make sure you get some important dates on the calendar and start getting excited for girls season! We know that every season is different but we are so excited to see the amazing success and accomplishments this season brings. The calendar is up to date but as always is subject to change as we progress through the season. I want to make sure you are putting some important dates on your calendar as we head toward August 15th! 

Important Dates:

Captains Practices - August 8th, 10th, and 12th   -  Follow our captains on Instagram @blainegswimdive more details to follow! 

First Day of Practice - Monday, August 15th - Our first day of practice is August 15th! If your athlete was on varsity they should join the varsity practice. If they were at JV practice last year they should join JV practice. If you are new to the team they should join the JV practice and we will discuss the best next steps! We can also discuss it individually at the picnic. We will have a team meeting at 4:45 on Monday to start introductions and talk about our theme of the week. 

All Parents/Guardians Meeting - Thursday, August 18th - We will be having an All Parents/Guardians Meeting on Thursday, August 18th from 5:15 - 6:00 pm. One of the most important and amazing parts of this team is the support our parents give to the program. I will go over our team philosophy, make a few introductions and give an opportunity to ask questions. I'd like to give new(er) parents an opportunity to meet experienced parents, discuss carpools, understand volunteer opportunities and help us continue to create the team atmosphere that makes this Bengal team special. We would love to have at least one representative for each athlete at this meeting! 

Craft Fair - October 20-22 - This is our biggest (and most fun) fundraiser of the year! Its an amazing event but we absolutely need your help! Please keep these dates open for athletes to help support our program! MANY many more details to follow but mark your calendars!

We are truly so excited to get back into the swing of things, We've been planning since last November of course, and excited for what this new season holds! Please let me know if you have any questions and I can't wait to see you all on the 7th!
