*Diving practice days and times may change after first couple of weeks depending on team numbers.

Swimmers are expected to be at 3 of the 4 practices each week. An absence will be excused when the absence is a result of illness or family emergency; otherwise, it will be considered unexcused and may prohibit the swimmer from swimming in a meet and/or lettering. Please make sure to communicate with coaches when you cannot be at practice. There are only two practices a week for diving, divers are strongly encouraged to attend both practices whenever possible.

Since we have to rent our practice space and time is limited, it is very important that swimmers and divers are at practice on time and prepared to stretch and get into the water immediately.

There will be no bus transportation to/from practices, so parents will need to make sure that their child has a means of getting to/from practice. This is usually done by carpooling with other parents, arranging rides with upperclassmen, or driving themselves to practice. It is the parent’s responsibility if a child rides to/from practice with another student or parent. Lassiter and Coaches are not responsible if an accident or some other occurrence takes place.
