Winter Swim Options
Hi Everyone,
Many of you have asked about winter swim options for your child. Thanks to Angela Ensig you can now see below for a quick overview of local options with a little info on each one. Good Luck and as always please feel free to reach out with questions.
As the summer swim season ends, some kids have embraced the sport of swimming. Several families have expressed interest in winter swimming. There are several local teams that offer a winter swim season. Here is a compiled list of local winter teams. Most teams will require you to attend an evaluation, which is occurring in the upcoming weeks.
Council Rock: https://www.crsd.org/Page/61538
Council Rock is similar to LMT in that most meets are dual meets. Practice is a few days a week held at Council Rock North.

George School swims USA swimming. They offer practices four or five times a week and compete in approximately one meet a month. Contact information is on their website to set up evaluations.
NAC: https://www.teamunify.com/team/manac/page/home
NAC swims USA swimming. They hold practice two to four practices a week depending on which group you are placed in. Contact information is on their website to set up evaluations. Spots are limited.

Penn swims USA swimming. They offer practices five days a week

If you would like to swim the winter season a suggestion is to contact two or three teams and get a feel for the different teams around. They each have their own personality and its good to find the right fit for your child.
