NE Seniors - Day 3 Finals, Day 4 Full Recap with final scores

Saturday Finals - Sophie Phelps started the night off right with her second Futures cut, new 13-14 and Open team record in the 200BK finishing 10th with a 2:03.13. Tyler Roethke grabbed a 16th place finish in the 50FR with a 21.89 and Beau Garufi finished 13th in the 100BR with a 59.44.  Grant Beebe sets a new 15-18 and Open team record with his 10th place finish in the 50FL with a final time of 23.21.  Roethke rebounded nicely in his 500FR setting a new 15-18 and Open record with a 4:33.33 which was fast enough for a 4th place finish.

Garufi, Kevin Johnson, Beebe and Roethke took 19th in the Men's 400 Medley Relay.
Nantucket Swimming currently sits 12th overall at the meet with 273.5 points.
Sunday Prelims - Prelims started off with the Mixed 200 Medley Relay of Sophie Phelps (27.56), Kevin Johnson (30.15), Grant Beebe (22.79) and Emma Davis (25.01). The team finished 19th overall and scored 12 points.  Also, Phelps's back split is a new 13-14 and Open team record.
Johnson finished the 200IM with a 2:09.08. Next up, Davis jumps from her 100th seed placement in the 100FR and finishes 35th dropping 2.80 seconds with a 54.04 and a new 15-18 and Open team record.
Tyler Roethke finished prelims in 11th in the 100FR with a 47.28 and Beebe finished 39th with a 48.94.  Beau Garufi finished prelims in 15th in the 200BR with a 2:11.58 and a new Open team record. Johnson finished 64th with 2:24.64.
Davis had another big drop in the 100FL finishing 1.29 seconds faster than her previous best with a final time of 1:02.07.  Her time was a new 15-18 and Open team records.  For the Men's 100FL, Roethke has a big drop and makes the A Final with a 50.92 and Beebe grabs the spot in the B Final with 51.70.  
Phelps finished 14th overall in the 1,000FR with a 10:33.54.
Sunday Finals - In the last night of the 4 day meet, Tyler Roethke finished 10th in the 100FR with a 47.08 and Beau Garufi was able to drop .76 in the 200BR placing 13th with a 2:10.82 and new Open record. 
The 100FL had Roethke with an 8th place finish (51.20) and Grant Beebe with a 16th place finish (52.40).  The evening concluded with the Men's 400FR Relay going 3:16.25 just over a half second from the team record.  Splits were Beebe 48.19, Garufi, 49.03, Kevin Johnson 52.10 and Roethke 46.93.
Overall, this was the most successful Seniors meet for Nantucket Swimming.  We had 19 new team records.  Sophie Phelps lead the way with 8 followed by Emma Davis, Beau Garufi and Tyler Roethke with 3 each.  Grant Beebe picked up 1 and the Men's 400FR rounded out the field. 
The overall team placement had the group in 12th place with 394.5 points with the Men's breakdown in 8th place with 315.5 points and Women's breakdown in 17th place with 67 points.
