We are thrilled to announce our Assistant Coaches and CITs for 2023! Joining Head Coach Dani Falco and Assistant Head Coach Erin Currier on deck this summer, please congratulate:

Reminder: Swimtopia to Replace TeamUnify

After almost a year of research, we’ve decided to replace our current website and team management platform, TeamUnify, with a more user-friendly option called Swimtopia. A committee comprised of Board members and key volunteers has been hard at work transitioning our swimmer data, content and meet information to the new platform. 

 

The new website will roll out later this month or in April.

 

Saving Your Swimmer's Time Histories

The meet results for Summer 2021 and Summer 2022 have been imported into Swimtopia for both A and B meets. Families of swimmers from years 2020 and earlier who would like to save time records should follow the instructions found here: Swimmer Time History Instructions. Our contract with Swimtopia ends in late March, so please save any records before March 25th.

 

Kingfish Suit and Merch Swap

If you have suits and Kingfish gear that your child has outgrown, drop it off at Carley El-Hibri's house (312 Thaxton St) so that our younger Kingfish can use it.  Drop off will be ongoing from now until the season is underway -- look for a box labeled "Kingfish" on the El-Hibri's front porch.

Kentlands Clubhouse

 

Kentlands Facilities Passes

Clubhouse management is offering exclusive times for Kingfish families to obtain or update facilities passes, including during our team registration. 

You need an appointment if you are:

  • A NEW member who possibly just moved to the Kentlands and would like to join the Kingfish 
  • An EXISTING member that need to update their accounts or has a swimmer who recently turned 12 to obtain their own pass.

New Volunteer Roles Available

Team Ambassador Family:

We are looking for one family in each swimmer age group to guide new families through season, from joining the Kingfish to how to declare for a meet. 

 

Banquet and Graduation Committees:

Planning for our end-of-season banquet starts this spring! We need volunteers to chair and coordinate the banquet as well as graduation celebrations. If you love to plan events, please consider volunteering your time!
