Ryan Yuen Head Coach

Since the age of 5, swimming has always been a big part of my life; which all started with the Middlebridge Marlins.  I swam for the Marlins from age 5-18, then immediately took over the Head Coach position when I graduated from the team.  I spent 7 great years coaching the team that I grew up with, but it was time to make a change.  I attended John F. Kennedy High School, where I played varsity football, swimming, and lacrosse, and graduated with honors through the Leadership Training Institute.  I then pursued my degree in Kinesiology at Towson University, where I was also part of their Division 1 swim team.

Coaching has always been a big part of my life.  Aside from coaching swimming, I have had experience in coaching soccer, basketball, lacrosse and field hockey.  I look forward in spending my summers in King Farm and hope for great, fun filled seasons with the Screemin' Geese for years to come!
Zak Braun Assistant Coach

Hello King Farm Swim Team! I am so excited to be part of the coaching staff this year. This will be my second year as an assistant coach but I have been involved with swimming since I was only 5 years old. I started swimming with the Woodcliffe Wahoos where I stayed until I was 18 years old. Along with summer swimming I swam competitively for RMSC where I actually swam under Coach Ryan! Also, I was elected captain of the swim team at Northwest High School but unfortunately I wasn’t able to swim that year due to COVID. Currently I am attending Indiana University’s Kelley school of business pursuing a major in business management and a minor in economics.

One of my favorite things to do when coaching summer swim teams is lead cheers and coordinate awesome meet themes. Again, I am so excited to be a part of the King Farm Swim team and proud to call myself a Screamin’ Geese.

Jisu Kim Assistant Coach

I have been swimming for a little over a decade now, working my way through swim lessons at the Olney indoor swim center, RMSC, MCSL, high school swimming, and now college club swimming. I started off my MCSL career with the Upper County Dolphins, where I swam from 2011 to 2019. During my final two years as a Dolphin, I was also an assistant coach for the team. Outside of MCSL, I was the Male Captain for the Poolesville High School Swim and Dive team and am the current Male Captain for the Illini Swim Club. Aside from my love for swimming, I am heavily involved in the University of Illinois' NROTC battalion, where I am working towards obtaining a commission in the United States Navy as a mechanical engineering major. Outside of the pool and NROTC, you can find me doing anything outdoors, hanging out with friends, and working out. I am honored to be a part of the King Farm Screamin’ Geese Swim Team and cannot be more excited to work with you all this summer! Go Screamin’ Geese!
