2021 Tallyho Practice Schedule

Tuesday, June 1 to Thursday, June 17 (Last week of MCPS) Afternoons Only
- Block 1 - 13+ (5:30-6:00pm) -- open as it is experienced, presumably vaccinated swimmers
- Block 2 - 8/u (6:00-6:30pm) -- by sign up to keep 8 per lane in 6 lanes
- Block 3 - 9-10 (6:30-7:00pm) -- by sign up to keep 8 per lane in 6 lanes
- Block 4 - 11-12 (7:00-7:30pm) -- by sign up to keep 8 per lane in 6 lanes
*Sleep IN for your first day of summer! Morning practices will start, Friday, June 18 (with donuts, of course!)
Starting Friday, June 18 to Friday, July 23
Please note -- we have a lot more space in the mornings for swimmers. Afternoon practices are limited in lanes as we share afternoons with general membership. We will also have "meets" on Wednesday evenings. Morning practice is strongly encouraged.
Mornings: Monday-Friday
- Block 1 - 10/u (7:45-8:15am) -- we will evaluate size of practices to determine sign-ups
- Block 2 - 10/u (8:15-8:45am) – we will evaluate size of practices to determine sign-ups
- Block 3 - 11/12 (8:45-9:15am) -- we will evaluate size of practices to determine sign-ups
- Block 4 - 13+ (9:15-10:00am) -- open as it is experienced, presumably vaccinated swimmers
Afternoons: Tu / Thur / Fri ONLY
Plan to require sign ups for 12/unders to protect unvaccinated swimmers. We will only have 24-32 slots per afternoon practice as we only have 3-4 lanes max.
- Block 1 - 13+ (4:00-4:30pm)
- Block 2 - 11/12 (4:30-5:00pm)
- Block 3 - 9/10 (5:00-5:30pm)
- Block 4 - 8&under (5:30-6:00pm)
Fridays will be spirit events after practice for SWIMMERS only to keep events safe and within guidelines (not pasta dinners, but other safe and fun ways for team bonding!)
