Keelan Kirshen joined MCST as a swimmer when he was 10 years old and has coached for MCST since 1989.  His swimming experience includes MCST, the Concord-Pleasant Hill Swim Team, the Walnut Creek Aquabears, and Diablo Valley College.  He graduated from Berean Christian High School in 1990 and St. Mary’s College in 1994. He has been a history teacher at the Martinez Junior High School since 1996 and coaches the Alhambra High School Swim Team. Keelan’s two kids Kenzie and Mac both swim for MCST.

Diana Burns coached MCST in 1993 & 1994 and went on to coach at Las Trampas, the Terrapins, Cal Poly SLO, and Orinda Park Pool.  Dianna's swimming experience includes the Pleasant Hill Aquatics, the Terrapins, and Cal Poly. Dianna has been a teacher at Wagner Ranch Elementary School in Orinda since 2004. Dianna rejoined the MCST staff in 2016 as her two boys, Hunter and Carter, both swim for MCST.

Courtney Butler swam for the Pleasant Hill Aquatics until she was 18 years old.  While swimming for PHAST and for several years after she coordinated the Emperor Penguins program for the team's youngest swimmers. She graduated from Carondelet in 2008 and from Gonzaga in 2012.  Courtney holds a teaching credential from St. Mary's College and currently teaches at Queen of All Saints School. Courtney has been coaching with MCST since 2015.

Veronica Montes has been coaching with MCST since 2017.   Veronica joined MCST when she was 4 years old.  She graduated from Alhambra High School in 1998 where she was a varsity swimmer and water polo player.  She played water polo and swam at DVC and graduated from UC Davis in 2002 with a degree in Mathematics.  Currently, Veronica is the Student Body Account Clerk at Martinez Junior High School.  Her four children Vera, Augie, Bertie, and Roman swim for MCST.
