HOW DO I BECOME A GATOR COACH?

Interested in finding out how to become a Coach for the Middleton Gators?

Are you fun, energetic, take initiative, and have a passion for Swimming or Diving?  Would you like to instruct and mentor youth athletes doing what you love?  The Middleton Gators Swim & Dive Team has the perfect position for you!  

The Middleton Gators accepts applications January 1 through February 28th.   Applications will be reviewed and approved for hire by the Gator Board Directors.   Applicants will be notified by the VP Swim or VP Dive shortly afterwards.

Swim & Dive Coach Positions:

Volunteer Coach Junior Coach Assistant Coach Lead-Assistant Coach
Must be at least entering your Freshman year of High School Must be 15 years or older Must have 3+ years high school education or equivalent, and 2+ years of coaching experience Must have 3+ years high school education or equivalent, and 2+ years of coaching experience
A minimum of at least 2 years of competitive swim/dive team experience WSI (Swim), First Aid certification preferred.  2+ years’ experience as a competitive swimmer/diver preferred. 2+ years’ experience as a competitive swimmer/diver preferred.
Must be willing to take instruction from Junior, Assistant and Head Coaches. A minimum of at least 2 years of competitive swim/dive team experience Certifications: WSI (Swim), CPR, First Aid, Lifeguard Training, all preferred.   Certifications: WSI (Swim), CPR, First Aid, Lifeguard Training, all preferred. 
No coaching experience required, we will train you!
