Lauren Cabalka GATOR HEAD SWIM COACH (Lead 9/10)

Hey there...it's Lauren.  This will be my 34th year with the Middleton Gators - back as your head coach and a new age group (9-10s!). I started swimming for the Gators in 1988 and continued on for 14 years. During that time, I swam for Mad-Town Aquatics (now Badger Aquatics) and Middleton High School, where I was a captain and 4-year varsity letter winner. I attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I majored in History and Psychology. During my time there, I was a member of the UW Triathlon Team where I competed in 2 of my 4 Ironman competitions. I then attended Edgewood College for my teaching degree and taught for 11 years at La Follette High School and was the head coach for the MHS girls team through 2021. Aside from Gators, I am a fitness instructor at Dragonfly Hot Yoga and an online health & fitness coach.  I love hot yoga, flip flops, top knots and Starbucks Refreshers :).  My husband, Jeremy, and I have a 9-year old daughter, Mila (a 9-10 this year!), and a 6-year-old son, Leo.  I believe that swimming is a lifelong sport to be enjoyed by all and a sport which truly makes us better, more well-rounded people.  I have a passion for promoting a healthy lifestyle and supporting althetes of all abilities to reach their maximum potential.  I'm ready for another amazing season as a part of the best team in the league!
Andi Kent GATOR HEAD SWIM COACH (Lead 8&Under)

Hello Gators!

My name is Andi and I am so excited to be back for yet again a fun-filled summer!  I am one of the head coaches and specifically lead the mighty 8 and unders.  I have been an 8 and under coach for 16 (I think...) years.  I have been a part of the All-City League for what seems like forever, okay more like 30 years.  When I am not on the pool deck getting to work with all the amazing athletes and families, I am a full-time Middle School Math Teacher in Madison.  I just recently finished my Master's degree and I am so looking forward to a summer of no schoolwork or homework!  I can't imagine spending a summer doing anything else than being on deck and seeing all the amazing things that the All-City League provides swimmers.  See you all in the pool or on deck soon!

Alex Starr GATOR HEAD DIVE COACH

Hi Everyone! My name is Alex and I am the head coach for the dive team. I did swimming and diving for nine years with the Gators. I'm just finishing my first year at UW-La Crosse, and am a member of their swim & dive team. When I'm not in the pool, I like playing basketball and hiking. I'm excited to get back in the water, and look forward to having a fun season with the dive team! Go Gators!

Caroline Hippen Assistant Head Swim Coach (Lead 11/12)

Hi Gator Families!  My name is Caroline Hippen, but in the swimming community, I am known as CJ. This will be my seventh year of coaching and this year I will be the lead coach for 11-12s and 13-14 Girls. I have been a Gator since 2004 meaning this summer is my 19th year of being a part of the team. Wow! I had to double check my math on that one! I graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Kinesiology in May of 2022. I have swam for the Illinois swim team, MHS swim team, Badger Aquatics Club, and of course, Middleton Gators. I also coached for the MHS swim team and Badger Aquatics Club this past year. Chlorine is quite literally in my blood, if you can't tell! I took a job as the Aquatics Manager at TPC Wisconsin, formerly Cherokee Country Club, so you will be seeing a little less of me this summer but still cannot get rid of me yet;) I always look forward to summer simply because being a part of the Middleton Gators is such a joy of mine. I am so excited to coach once again this summer and have another great season of fun and fast swimming. Go Gators!

RJ Leiferman Assistant Head Swim Coach (Lead 13&Up)

Quinn Harris Assistant Swim Coach

Hey Gators, get those caps and goggles out because it's time for All-City Season!! I am beyond excited to return to the pool for another fantastic summer with my Gator family. I am currently studying Elementary/Middle School Education with a minor in Nutrition at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. I swam with the Gators for 9 years, and the Middleton HS Cardinals for 4 years before continuing my swim career on UWL Swim and Dive Team for 2.5 years, and now I'm coaching! Outside of school and the pool I have a big passion for lifting/working out (I am getting ready to get my personal training/group fitness certifications), listening to country music, and traveling. I hope you all are as excited as I am as we get ready to start the 2023 season, and I can't wait to see all your smiling faces on deck. As always, Go Gators!
