Welcome to the 2019 Lane Lines newsletter for Week 4!

Week 3 featured a close swim meet at Shorewood and a dominating performance by the dive team at Hawks Landing. Both teams will enjoy the comforts of home this week. And that means we'll need lots of help to put on smooth meets. Enjoy the break from swim practices over the Fourth of July!

Diving: Well Worthy
Another great week of diving! Monona traveled to Hawks Landing last week and dove to another victory 69-36. The Magicians congratulate Mason Huff on his first dive meet!

We are about half way through the season and plans for All City are well underway. Entries for diving are due July 14th. You MUST have a full list of dives to compete in the Championship meet and have competed in 3 dual meets to be eligible. Commitments for All City must be determined by July 12th to secure entries for this meet. Please use the team website to declare your intentions. If you don’t have the requirements met yet, talk to Coach Wendy.

Dive practice this week is a little different due to the July 4 th holiday. No PM practice on the 3rd, no AM or PM practice on the 4th. Friday morning, July 5th, practice will be held 9:30-11am. We also host a home meet that evening, so warm ups are at Monona 3-4pm. Go MO!!

FRUIT FRIDAYS – Thank you to Gavin Larson’s family for supplying fruit this week on Friday morning. We still have two slots available on July 12th and July 19th if you are interested in bringing fruit for the team. Contact Coach Wendy.
