After much waiting, Tidalwaves has just been given permission to use the Redwood pool from 6:00-8:00 pm from July 20th - August 7th. Once again the goalposts for re-opening, or re-entering, the water have moved. We have been informed by Redwood High School that they will not re-open the pool until at least July 5th. While discouraging, we, the Tidalwaves Board, sees this information as only the loss of a couple of weeks of our intended shortened season, and we aren't ready to throw in the towel yet! We still have no new information about a shortened season, but we are definitely continuing to plan. Part of planning is making sure we understand our numbers. We currently have many swim families who have stayed with us because they hope to participate in a shortened season, but we suspect there are many who have decided they won't swim but have not yet felt the need to ask for a refund.
