Kayla Burton
Assistant Coach/Swim Instructor

My love for swimming began at a very young age. I can still remember my first swim lesson and how much I loved being in the water and learning how to be more efficient. Every summer involved either going to the pool or swimming in a river or lake. I joined the swim team in high school and fell in love with racing! When I was 16 I took my first lifeguard job and did that every summer until I was 23. I got my WSI in 2011 and have been teaching private and group swim lessons ever since then! Outside of the pool, I work as a personal trainer at Body Kinetics in San Rafael. Fitness and aquatics are two things that I am most passionate about, and I am lucky to incorporate both into my work. I love coaching; whether it’s learning how to squat or learning how to back stroke, I love helping people learn new skills and gain confidence!
