MOST INSPIRATIONAL SWIMMER

This special award, also known as the Be All You Can Be Award, was created in honor of a most beloved coach, Blake Evans.

In the words of Cameron Hayes, a friend and fellow past coach: Blake was a lifeguard, coach and swimmer at Norwood from 2013 - 2015 and was a true friend to our pool as well as everyone who knew him. He had an unmatched energy of kindness and positivity everywhere he went. His steps and his smile brightened the day of every swimmer, coach, parent, and friend he interacted with in his time, and he has been greatly missed at Norwood ever since.

The recipient of this award is a swimmer who is dedicated to the sport of swimming and to Norwood Swim Team. This individual regularly attends practice and meets, facing the challenges of new experiences with courage and determination. This individual is a role model of good sportsmanship, team unity and kindness to all.
