Sarah Paoli Head Coach

I am so excited to be a part of the  Riptide Family.   I have been in the aquatics field for 27 years, coaching for the past 21. I have coached with MSL teams, Marin Pirates and San Marin High School . I have been so fortunate to have the opportunity to coach all age groups.  I will also be coaching with the Thunder Coast Aquatics (TCA). I am originally form Denver, but Marin has been my home for a long time. I am fortunate to have a job I love, I teach PE at Vallecito Elementary. My daughter Kellie graduated from TLHS (my alma mater) in June of 2019. She is loving Santa Barbara City College.  I am looking forward to another wonderful swim season! See you pool side!

Mitch McSweeney Coach

Mitch came to us as a Riptide Swimmer all the way from Petaluma thanks to our former Coach, Coach Polly. Mitch and his sister's swam for Riptide over the years. When Mitch was done swimming and in College he naturally fell into the role of Coaching. Mitch is fabulous with the younger kids and he also expects a lot out of the experienced swimmers. Mitch is RIPTIDE and an asset to our team. We are so very thankful to have him back again in 2019!

Shannon Dugdale Juniors Coach

I am so happy to be back with the Riptide family. I started swimming with the Riptides at the age of 7. I swam for Novato high school’s swim team all four years. I also competed nationally and internationally with the US Paralympics. I currently swim with the Marin Aquatic Masters. I have helped coach the Novato High swim team since graduating in 2017. I currently work at Rancho Elementary School as a yard supervisor. I am really looking forward to coaching the Junior Riptiders! Being on the Riptides are some of my best memories and I look forward to creating new ones!
