Practice Protocols:

Prompt arrival - Swimmers should arrive at the west pool doors at their posted arrival time for screening.  We recommend that swimmers arrive in their swim suits (and face coverings) in order to minimize time spent in the locker room.  Parents should plan to remain on school property long enough to make sure their swimmers pass the screening process.  Only swimmers and volunteers approved for each practice group will be allowed in the building.

Prompt departure - Swimmers should leave promptly through the gymnasium doors after practice.  Lingering at the school or in the locker rooms after practice will not be allowed.  We understand that swimmers must rely on parents for transportation, so we are asking for parents to ensure prompt pick up of swimmers.

Locker rooms – The number of swimmers allowed to enter the locker room at any given time will be strictly limited.  Therefore, swimmers need to minimize the time they spend in the locker rooms.  Swimmers should plan to arrive to practice with their suits (and masks) on, ready to swim.  No lockers will be available for storage.  Swimmers’ belongings will be stored on deck during practice, so please limit (and label) what you bring and label bags, towels, and other items.  We suggest bringing a small plastic container or zip lock bag to keep swimmers' masks/face coverings dry while they are in the water.

One additional note on locker rooms: In the past, locker room behavior has become rowdy after practice.  There will be a zero-tolerance policy for locker room misbehavior this season.  Swimmers who cannot remain calm in the locker rooms will not be able to continue participating. No refunds will be issued.
