March 29, 2020

Due to the standing orders issued by Local and State officials and our efforts as an organization to ensure the health and safety of all our members and families, we are forced to delay the start of the 2020 season further.  We continue as an organization to communicate closely with local officials to ensure our planning mirrors the recommendations issues by State, County and Local offices.

Since 1965 the Tracy Triton goal has never waivered in providing recreational swimming opportunities for all levels of swimmers in our community, and once the existing orders are lifted we will determine how best to provide swimming to our community as we as an organization have done each Summer for 55 years.

We appreciate your continued support and look forward to having the opportunity to provide concrete details to our members as soon as possible.

As you are all aware, in abundance of caution local school districts have closed schools until Monday April 6, 2020 due to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. At this time, Tracy Tritons Swim Club will be delaying the start of the 2020 Season. We are working closely with school officials to determine opening dates. We will be following the recommendations of the city, county, and state of California. The health and safety of our swimmers is always at the forefront of our minds. We will continuously monitor the situation and will provide updates as we are able.

As of right now, we anticipate the following schedule changes to the 2020 Season. We will provide specifics times and locations once the logistics have been finalized.

  • Returning Swimmers will begin Monday April 6, 2020
  • New swimmer tryouts on Saturday April 11, 2020

We thank you for your patience and understanding as the situation evolves. Our goal is to provide the fullest swim season to our swimmers and families. We will continue to provide updates as the situation unfolds.
