1)TIME TRIALS:   If you have NOT declared your swimmer for Time Trials this Saturday morning (6/8) you MUST to so by tomorrow (Thursday June 6th at 10pm

To declare your swimmer go to the TEAM EVENTS tab on the website, find Time Trials (first meet), click "Edit Commitmet", declare each of your swimmers individually, hit save!

Please note: Since this is a "Mock Meet" with only our team, we are able to reopen the declaration window - this is not the case for dual meets.  We recommend going through the season and declaring for all meets now if possible.  You will be able to edit your commitment up until the deadline dates if necessary - but this often prevents swimmers from missing entry deadlines!  The White Eagle meet deadline is June 7th - so please declare for this one now as well!!

 Time Trials details:

arrive at 7:30am*: at this time swimmers should check in with the coaches on the "Positive Check In" sheet AND all workers signed up to work time trials should report to get their name tags. All swimmers need to be checked in by 7:45.

- Coaches will lead warm ups with the swimmers and the meet will officially begin at 8:30am.

-Swimmers will sit in our team area (the stone paver area near the white fence) between events - Please bring a blanket or similar to sit on.  This meet goes fast and should be done by 11am, if not before. Please remind your swimmers to be in the team area between events since the time between events is pretty short.

-For Time Trials: all swimmers will be entered in the events by the coaches.  Since this is a meet for our team only - all swimmers will be entered all events so they can get base times for the season.  We encourage everyone to try each event as this gives our coaches great information about swimmer abilities and areas that they would like to work on in practice.

-Remember to bring a few towels, goggles & caps if your swimmer(s) wears them, sunscreen, etc!

*Concessions workers should check in by 7:15am

2)Volunteer Bond Check:  All Raptor families (with the exception of commitee chairs/board members) MUST submit a $300 Volunteer Bond Check prior to coaches entering your swimmers in dual meets.  This check is here to ensure all workers complete their volunteer commitments.  If a volunteer does not complete their assignment, then a portion of this check will be used to pay a stand in (neighborhood high schooler, etc).  Our goal is to NEVER cash a check, since the need for volunteers at meets is far greater than the money!   IF YOU HAVE NOT SUBMITTED YOUR $300 BOND CHECK  per family (separate from your registration) - plan to bring this to the Pep Rally on Friday night.  Not able to attend the Pep Rally? drop it off at the River Run Clubhouse front desk anytime before Friday night!   Thank you for your assistance with this matter.

The participants will have to get their own items to tye dye, but we thought it would be a fun activity to do together.
  • Private Lessons:
    • The following is a list of coaches who are available to do private lessons. Each lesson is 30 minutes and costs $20. Please contact the coach you would like to work with either before or after practice. Please do not approach the coach when they are coaching.
      •  Kaitlyn, Ryan, Michael, Connor, Jack, and Alan
    • Coach Crystal is available most days from 11-12 and the cost for those lessons are  $25 a lesson.
  • Practice procedure:
    • Please make sure that you refrain from being on the pool deck while your swimmer is at practice. Also, if you use the chairs, please put the chairs back at the tables that you got them from.
