Ashbourne Swim Club

To our Members,

Welcome back!  We hope you have enjoyed the Holiday Season!

Ashbourne Swim Club will be implementing some exciting changes over the next few months starting with a brand new website.  The new website platform will have a modern look, provide a better platform for sharing pool news and events, and even provide the ability to complete registrations online starting this year with the swim team registration process and registration for pool events.  In 2020 we hope to bring the entire registration process online, provide the ability to pay certain fees online via credit card, and introduce electronic scanning to check in and out of the pool.

We will be creating accounts automatically for all existing members, so keep an eye out for an email with information about your log in.  You’ll use this login to register for events, including our work weekends starting in April.

These changes are all intended to reduce administrative cost, which ultimately prevents us from having to raise membership dues.  It also helps to make our pool more environmentally conscious and ensures a safe and fun environment for our members.

This will be the last season all members will receive a mailed registration form.  That’s right! Ashbourne is going paperless starting in 2020.  We hope that all registration will be done online through the website.  Please note that in the future if you wish to download and print the registration form and mail it in, you will still be able to.  You simply won’t be receiving a letter, rather a welcome email at this time next year.  If you don’t have an email address, please let us know and we will make sure you get your information.  Please make sure you have included a current email address on this year’s registration form so that you don’t miss any communications.

Pre-season work:  We will begin our pre-season work schedule in April.  Participating in the pre-season work not only helps to make your club better and more prepared for the new season, but also foregoes the $100 maintenance fee.  Keep an eye on your email for specific dates and how to sign up.

Swim Team:  The team continues to grow and be a great way for kids and parents to get involved in fun activities that you and your family will always remember.  We have many ways to do this while keeping costs to a minimum.  The swim team has a brand new page on the website with all of the latest information, including the 2019 schedule.

Membership Dues:  As always, no member will be admitted to the pool unless their dues and fees have been paid in full.  The $20 credit card fee will be waived for those who pay in full by March 1, 2019.

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you in the summer of 2019!
